Many games were released before the Trophy feature was implemented in July 2008, while others were released in the following months before the feature became mandatory in January 2009. However, the selection of games of this period were later corrected to include trophies. It should also be noted that most games released without trophies have Xbox Achievements for their Xbox 360 counterparts, as this feature was a requirement from the launch of the console. Trophies haven't always been around gamers who have owned PlayStation 3 for a while, perhaps remember the time that trophies don't exist. Some games like Uncharted and Metal Gear Solid 4 eventually got trophy patches. But, there are quite a few games that have never been made. So here's a list of 10 great games that still don't have trophy support. It was a game run and is one of the last classic Ridge Racer games made. In 2010, four years after its initial release, Ridge Racer 7 even received a 3D license version that allows you to play the game in full 3D. However, there is still no trophy support. This is another game launch and a sequel to PlayStation 2 samurai action gem Dawn samurai. This game has famous battles that actually took place in ancient Japan and real-time weapons change. Without the trophy's support, how can I show my PlayStation Network friends that I defeated a giant enemy crab by attacking its weak for huge damage? Yesizun and Shizuka lament To unlock trophies When you think about fighting games with weapons, SoulCalibur is usually the first game that comes to mind. You can unlock honors in the game that are basically the same as trophies and even double as achievements for the Xbox 360 version. But alas, no actual trophy support has ever made it into this combat game classic. Before the developer Ninja Theory made critics still greatly underrated The Devil May Cry reboot DmC they did a pretty cool action game called Heavenly Sword. The close combat with different combat positions and the ability to control projectiles with Sixaxis motion control has made the action gameplay unique. The main character Nariko later appeared in playStation All-Stars Battle Royale, which qualifies Heavenly Sword as a classic PlayStation game, but still doesn't like trophy hunters. Also featured in: Top 10 PlayStation 3 Exclusives that deserve Sequels When Driveclub developers Evolution Studios switched from their PlayStation 2 series to the World Rally Championship on PlayStation 3 they made a new racing game called Motorstorm. After its release it was considered an instant off-road racing game classic and eventually spawned 2 sequels (with trophies) and several side effects. However, there is still no trophy support for the original. If I can't get trophies then I can also move from this Cliff Sequel to one of the game's best action series, but starring a completely different protagonist, Devil May Cry 4 is a pretty cool game.
