THE CHANNEL 4 COMEDY GALA IN AID OF GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL CHILDREN’S CHARITY RETURNS TO THE O2 ARENA ON FRIDAY 15TH MAY 2015 ** Tickets go on sale from 9am Friday 6th March ** ‘Channel 4’s Comedy Gala Live At The O2’ in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity returns for a sixth year to London’s O2 arena, the world famous entertainment venue. The amazing all star line up confirmed for the biggest annual comedy event of the year so far includes: Aisling Bea, Alan Carr, Jack Dee, Jason Byrne, Jonathan Ross, Jon Richardson, Josh Widdicombe, Katherine Ryan, Kevin Bridges, Michael McIntyre, Paul Chowdhry, Rich Hall, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Sara Pascoe, Sean Lock , Seann Walsh, Shappi Khorsandi, Warwick Davis with many more to be announced. Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday 6th March priced £150 - £40 (please see listings and booking details below). Money raised will go towards a brand new operating theatre at Great Ormond Street Hospital so that the surgeons can help more children with rare and often life threatening conditions. ‘Channel 4’s Comedy Gala Live At The O2’ will be recorded for a two hour Channel 4 TV special to be aired later on this year. The past five comedy galas have seen many of the nation’s favourite comedians and TV presenters show support by taking to the stage to perform at the O2 Arena. Each extravaganza, watched live by 15,000 comedy fans with over 3 million viewers tuning in on Channel 4, featured a world class collection of stars all giving up their time to support Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, and they have so far raised an impressive £3.6 million over the past five years. Tim Johnson, Chief Executive of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, said: “Around one in three inpatients at Great Ormond Street Hospital will have surgery at some point during their stay, so it’s vital for us to have modern, world class surgical facilities.
