The data is presented in the shape of various publications by the Directorate of Economics & Statistics and its agencies on regular basis. Joint Directorate of Evaluation & Statistics, Jammu among other activities is also charged with the responsibility of collecting, compiling, analysis and dissemination of data in the shape of publication titled” Regional Digest of Statistics” in respect of Jammu Division. This publication provides statistical profile and socio-economic scenario of various sectors of Jammu region. The present issue of Regional Digest of Statistics pertains to the year 2016-17 and is 18th in the series.
