Intercom Booth # 1920 CEDIA 2017 INTERCOM Booth # 1920 Part# H310 0101 00 Dynaco Is BAck Shipping Fall 2017 ST-70 re-imagined for today’s audiophile The original Dynaco® Stereo 70™ is a true classic. The new ST-70™ Series 3 marks the intro- duction of a third generation of vacuum tube products bearing the Dynaco name. This “new 70” reflects the illustrious history of Dynaco’s involvement with vacuum tube designs along with the latest advances in vacuum tube technology. Throughout it’s long history, the Stereo 70 has proven a robust design of exceptional value. We have sought to preserve the considerable virtues of the original Stereo 70 while making use of more modern parts plus advanced circuit techniques. These improvements include precision metal-film resistors, poly-composition capacitors and high-capacity power supply New! Element capacitors to improve “stiffness” of the power supply making for a tighter bottom end. Fabric wrapped and paintable panels The excellent original output transformers have been updated with the latest knowledge in the art of winding output transformers by a top manufacturer known for making some of the finest transformers for Stereo 70 upgrades for several decades. The ST-70 Series 3 uses four dual triodes for the input gain, phase splitting and to drive the output tubes. This combination was explored by David Hafler for higher end amplifiers and has been well tested in the audiophile community. Rather than being limited to the typical square and rectangular panels found in most studios, the hexagonal shape and beveled edges allow the panels to be installed in unique patterns and clusters. Now primary reflections and flutter echo can be controlled with an acoustic treatment layout that is personalized to your space. The 16” (406mm) Elements are 1.5” (3.8cm) thick, and are constructed from 6lb high density glass wool for optimal broadband absorption. As with all Primacoustic panels, the Elements have been tested to achieve stringent Class-A fire ratings, making them safe for use in instal- lations worldwide. The Element absorbers are available in black, grey or beige Broadway™ acoustic fabric, or in Primacoustic’s proprietary Paintables™ white finish. The sights, smells and tastes of a res- taurant are meticulously scrutinized. However, the sounds and volume levels with- in the venue are more often than not an afterthought. Sound levels, sometimes at the threshold of pain, affect the customer experience as well as the health and safety of the staff of the establishment. Restaurants with hard, reflective surfaces are a big challenge for acoustic sound control. This is particularly true in estab- lishments where windows, doors, and art can make hanging acoustic panels on walls impossible. This was especially challenging for one customer, Vic’s Pizzeria in Wildwood, Oregon. As tables filled, the noise level would rise making it difficult for both employees and customers to hear each other. They needed an acoustic solution that would lower noise levels and improve the overall sound experience while complementing the restaurant’s design aesthetic. The restaurant worked with Desco AV, based in Olympia, to provide a solution and they recommended installing floating paintable acoustic clouds by Primacoustic. Primacoustic offers a wide array of ceiling panels for all kinds of situations. Painta- bles™ absorptive acoustic panels include a collection of exciting shapes that can be used as ceiling clouds, baffles or wall panels to reduce reverberation and improve intelligibility. We calculated the amount of treatment the space would need and selected round Cloud Paintables. The acoustic treatments come finished in white and can be painted to suit any décor. Desco AV used both 48-inch and 36-inch TM Cirrus tiles, (1.5” thick) painted to match the ceiling. They were installed at vari- Cirrus ous heights throughout the room to maximize sound absorption. PRESS RELEASE Contact: Clyne Media, Inc. Tel: (615) 662-1616 Fax: (615) 662-1636 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE WAVES MODELING SETS THE BAR FOR DIGITAL AUDIO ―Waves’ SSL 4000 Collection, V-Series, and API Collection are remarkable modeled processors that capture every nuance of the original analog gear ― 123 rd AES CONVENTION, NEW YORK, NY, October 5, 2007 — Over the past year and a half, Waves, the world’s leading developer of professional audio signal processing technologies, has revolutionized the digital audio world with their three groundbreaking collections of modeled vintage hardware: the SSL 4000 Collection, the V- Series, and the API Collection. Each is a precision-engineered set of plug-ins that perfectly emulates the sonic architecture of the original equipment, capturing every nuance and behavior of the original analog gear. Waves acquires the very best hardware reference units available, in most cases, supplied by the original manufacturers. Then the Waves engineering team analyzes every attribute and behavior of the hardware with meticulous attention to detail. Since audio hardware is not just the sum of its components and circuit schematics, Waves’ extensive testing explores every last nuance and response of the hardware behavior. It is this meticulous attention to detail that has always set Waves apart, and always will. Developed in association with Solid State Logic, the SSL 4000 Collection, precisely recreates the sonics of the legendary Solid State Logic® 4000 series recording console. Waves called upon the talents of GRAMMY® Award-winning mixer Chris Lord-Alge to create a series of •1• exclusive presets, the same as those he uses to create multi-platinum hits for artists including Green Day, Sheryl Crow, Hoobastank, Tim McGraw, Audioslave, Brian Setzer, Eric Clapton, and dozens of others.
