If participation at any Board of Education meeting is not possible due to a disability, notification to the School Clerk at least 48 hours prior to scheduled meeting is encouraged to make the necessary accommodations. The Board of Education may waive the 48-hour rule if signing is not the necessary accommodation. Possible consideration and vote to approve final plans for Redbud ES Phase 2 and Phase 3 and authorize bidding process. 8. Possible consideration and vote to approve preliminary plans for Cross Timbers media center. 9. Possible consideration and vote to approve incentive/retention pay plan. 10. Possible consideration and vote to adopt Policy #2735. (Professional Growth and Development) POSSIBLE CONSIDERATION AND VOTE OF CONSENT AGENDA: All of the following items, which concern reports and items of routine nature normally approved at board meeting, will be approved by one vote unless any board member desires to have a separate vote on any or all of these items. The consent agenda consists of the discussion, consideration and vote of items #11- #29. 11. Approve minutes of the August, 2021 regular/special meetings. 12. Approve Encumbrances #22001409 - #22001962. 13. Approve Financial Reports for month ending July 31, 2021. 14. Approve Child Nutrition Adult Lunch Price increase for SY21-22 from $3.95 to $4.15. 15. Approve purchase of additional Into Reading K-5 curriculum from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in the amount of $171,332.57. 16. Approve purchase of 800 i-pads at a cost of $315,200.00 to be paid with technology bond funds. 17. Approve the renewal of Cisco Flex EA from Presidio Networked Solutions for the operation of district’s internal phone system in the amount of $108,300.00 18. Approve purchase of HVAC unit from Trane in the amount of $39,681 for Boulevard Academy. 19. Approve inductee-teacher committee for 2021-22. 20. Approve additional sanctioning clubs/groups for 2021-22. a. Edmond North HS Wrestling Club b. Husky Aquatic Team Booster c. Santa Fe HS Baseball Club 21. Approve servicing of microscopes for high school and middle school with Midwest Bioservice Company, LLC for 21-22 school year. 22. Approve renewal of McRel/PowerSchool contract for 2021-22 in the amount of $21,223.63. 23. Approve final renewal of Campus Suite contract for PDF Remediation Services. 24. Approve renewal of Total Wellness MOU for 2021-22. 25. Approve MOU with OSU-OKC to allow practicum students to observe Edmond’s staff interpreters. 26. Approve Contracts: a. Kim Campbell “Motivating the Middle” Cimarron MS b. Solution Tree Hosting conference in June 2022 c. RTI Scheduler All middle schools d.. Venue 102 North HS ROTC e. Discovery Education Heritage ES 27. Approve water line easement at Cheyenne MS site with City of Edmond. 28. Declare district property as surplus and authorize administration to dispose of property. 29. Items removed from Consent Agenda for separate action. CONSIDERATION OF EXECUTIVE SESSION AND VOTE ON SUPPORTING ACTION ITEMS: 30. Proposed executive session to discuss (1) employment, hiring, appointment, promotion and resignation/retirement of individual salaried employees as set out on Schedules A and B; (2) all administrators, all professional non-bargaining support personnel salary schedules; (3) extra/special duty assignments; and (4) confidential conversations with the board’s attorney concerning a ending claim, investigation or litigation a matter where disclosure of information would violate confidentiality requirements of state law all pursuant to Okla. State tit. 25 § 307 (B)(1); (b)(4); (B)(7). (The Oklahoma Open Meeting Act) a. Vote to convene in executive session. b. Acknowledge Board’s return to open session. c.
