CCC&SICE2015 Final Announcement

The 34th Chinese Control Conference and SICE Annual Conference 2015 (CCC&SICE2015) will be held on July 28-30, 2015, in Hangzhou, China. CCC&SICE2015 is jointly organized by the TTechnical Committee on Control Theory (TCCT) of Chinese Association of Automation (CAA) and the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE) of Japan, and locally organized by Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU). We sincerely welcome our colleagues and friends worldwide to join us for the conference. This is the final announcement of the conference.

2. Workshops

Free shuttle buses from Conference Venue and Courtyard by Marriott Hangzhou Qianjiang to Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang University will be provided on July 27.

3. On-site Registration

1) CCC2015 Regular Registration: CNY 3400/person (for no paper registration attendance) IEEE/TCCT/SICE Member: CNY 3200/person (for no paper registration attendance) Student Registration: CNY 2200/person (includes conference bag, lunches, dinners and banquet); CNY 900/person (includes conference bag, but lunches, dinners and banquet are not available)

2) SICE2015 Regular Registration: JPY 64,600/person (for no paper registration attendance) Regular Registration for Society member*: JPY 60,800 (for no paper registration attendance) * Society member rate is applied to the members of SICE, SICE supporting members, TCCT, IEEE, ICROS, ISA, CIS, CAA, CACS.

Student Registration: JPY 41,800/person (includes conference bag, lunches, dinners and banquet); JPY 17,100/person (includes conference bag, but lunches, dinners and banquet are not available)

4. Hotel Reservation

Only the rooms pre-reserved can be assured. Please note that the principle of first come first serve will be used for different classes of hotel rooms. After the reservation is completed, it is, in genneral, unchangeable.

5. Transportation

The closest airport to conference venue is Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH). International flights from a plenty of countries and cities are available. Hourly domestic flights connecting with Beijing International Airport (PEK) and Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) are very convenient for international transfer.

By taxi: taxi is available at the designated waiting area outside of the main gates of the terminal. Normally, it takes 50 minutes to get to conference venue (about CNY 150).

A carry-on note for taxi driver with directions in Chinese is provided in Attachment 3.

7. Requirements for Oral/Poster Papers

Oral paper: The time slot for each oral paper is 20 minutes (including discussion). The conference site will provide laptops and overhead projects; Poster paper:  The conference will provide an exhibition board (width 0.9 m, height 1.2 m) for each poster paper. The boards will be arranged in the order of the papers in the final program. Tape annd other materials will be provided on site, and volunteer-assistants will provide necessary help. Posters are required to be condensed and attractive. The characters should be large enough so that they are visible from 1 meter apart.  “CCC Poster Paper Award” is continued in the CCC2015. Detailed principles for the Award can be found at the conference website (http://tcct.amss.ac.cn/).  During your poster session, the author should stay by your poster paper to explain and discuss your paper with visiting colleagues. The members of the Evaluation Committee of CCC Poster paper Award will also be there to inspect poster papers. The authors, who do not poster their papers at their poster sessions and/or do not stay by their poster paper, will be considered as No Show.

Attachment 1: Hotel Reservation Guide

 Reservation open: 13 May, 2015.  Hotel reservation website: http://ccc-sice2015.hdu.edu.cn/?sid=15&lang=en  The check-out time is 12:00 noon. Late check-out after 12:00 and before 18:00 will be charged by half-day room price. Check-out after 18:00 will be charged by whole day room price.  Breakfast, tax and service charge are included in the hotel room fee.  The temperature at the end of July in Hangzhou is usually 30-35°C.  After registration, you can check in at the hotel front desk. If no booking in advance, we will not guarantee your accommodation.
