Greetings Golfers! We have some good news in light of the county and state ordered closures. Golf course play is an allowed use during the current “Shelter in Place” order. Clearly, we are excited to have golfers come and enjoy the courses and hopefully find some relief with a quality moment outside. To make this happen, there are a number of special rules put in place that we have agreed to implement in an effort to keep all staff and guests safe and maintain social distancing. Outline of the objectives to keep the courses operating safely while allowing for golf: • Courses must close their restaurants to indoor and outdoor seating. • Courses must close all indoor facilities to the public, no Pro-shops or lounges. • Courses must maintain social distancing practices. The following is the list of ways we are accommodating these requirements: • Check-in: Pro-shops will be closed and you will be checked-in via a kiosk or protected portal. Cash will not be accepted. • Reservations: We are not accepting tee times other than the day you call to make the reservation. • Golf Carts: Allowed with single ridership only (Children may ride with their parent, but spouses must each take their own cart) and are available first come first served. Carts will also be cleaned and sanitized between users. • Rental Equipment: Golf clubs and push carts are sanitized each evening and after each round before changing renters. • Flag Sticks: Cannot be removed by players. We will have swim noodles in the holes so that the ball will not go in the hole and as balls hit the noodles they are considered holed. Golfers are encouraged not to post these scores. • Food & Beverage Service: At this time, we will only have pre-packaged snacks and beverages available for purchase where you check-in. • Driving Range & Putting Green Use: We are washing our range balls in sanitizing solution and dunking range baskets in a sanitizing bucket. Range use is limited to the number of bays which are open to maintain social distancing and players are asked to return buckets when they are finished for a one-in and one-out if the range is full. We are limiting our putting green use to 25 persons at one time to maintain social distancing. • Restrooms: Within the clubhouse, restrooms are closed and on-course restrooms are being sanitized 2x per day (once in the morning with course set up and later at mid-day or early afternoon depending upon play. • Blacklake Specific: Until further notice, the Oaks 9 will remain closed to players. Please help us maintain social distancing so that we can keep everyone safe. We look forward to seeing you on the course! Avila Beach Golf Resort: 805-595-4000 Blacklake Golf Resort: 805-343-1214 .
