Dissertation Abstract: This research develops a bicycle robot that balances itself while running by using both steering and pendulum moving mechanisms, along with the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) controller. The results showed that the pendulum-emphasized LQR controller gave better performances to the system than the steering-emphasized LQR controller.

Two- dimensional Markov chain models are developed for such WRANs with multichannel operations. Dissertation Abstract: The study presents the numeral recognition system (NRS) and the long short-term memory-interference recognition (LSTM-IR) technique. Hough and Histogram of Gradient were applied to increase the performance within the NRS under the screen rotation problem. In addition, the LSTM network was modelled to predict the interference bits under the industrial internet of things topologies. The study provided insights for further internet technology.

The study provided experimental data about induced microstructure for the development of microstructure-based continuum models.

Dissertation Abstract This study presents a set of systems and tools to develop digital archives for museums. Cultural heritage objects are digitally stored and provided with 3D graphical representations and Linked Open Data technologies to enable interconnection among digital archives hosted by different museums. The 3D virtual exhibition system also enhances information access, semantic searches, and shares, and links museum resources to virtual exhibitions. This study deployed the developed systems at three national museums in Northern Thailand for evaluation by museum workers, scholars and students, and showed the advantages of the systems.

Dissertation Abstract The study formalizes the enrichment framework for representation and composition of multi-faceted observation data. The framework has been applied to model and manipulate cultivation knowledge about rice disease and 8

control identification. A prototype development using ontology and semantic technology together with the conducted evaluation have demonstrated the framework practicality and usability with satisfactory results obtained.

Dissertation Abstract LiDAR and satellite data were used for forest succession characterization in tropics. The change of Plant Area Index extracted from LiDAR data was utilized to explore the forest succession recovery. LiDAR and high-resolution satellite image-based indices and machine learning data analysis have shown high potential for forest succession modelling.

Finally, implications are drawn for public policy and future research on hijras’ concerns in Pakistan and elsewhere.

TAOs still need additional financial resources from the central government to fulfil the needs of the people through new local development projects.

These underutilized millets and legume have the potential to develop as functional food, especially for undernourished and gluten-allergic people.
