SPLENDOR OF THE SOUTH - THE GOLDEN CHARIOT ______Bangalore – Mamallapuram - Puducherry – Tiruchirapalli – Thanjavur – Madurai – Trivandrum - Kovalam – - Alleppey – Backwaters – Kochi - Bangalore Welcome to an exclusive and absolutely fantastic, India’s first PAN South India journey covering the whole of South India and touching the States of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. The journey begins at Bangalore and takes you to the historical Temple cities of Mamallapuram, Tiruchirapalli, Thanjavur and Madurai. In Puducherry you will visit the former French Colony. The Golden Chariot’s journey begins on Monday from Bangalore and traverses through the sandalwood city of Mysore, visiting Srirangapatna, Mysore Palace; the Nagarhole National Park (Kabini) and continuing to the historical sites of Shravanabelagola, Belur-the 11th century cradle of Hoysala architecture and a world heritage site, Halebidu, Hampi and thereafter entering into the triangular heritage site of Badami, Pattadakal and finally the Golden Beaches of Goa before ending back in Bangalore.
