6. OFFICIAL BALL OF THE COMPETITION

The official ball of the EEVZA tournament is: MIKASA MVP-200. Hosting provide at least 12 MIKASA MVP-200 balls for the warming-up of the match.

7. UNIFORMS

All participating teams has to present to representative of hosting club two samples of uniforms. It is not allowed to play in the same colour of uniform for both teams; in this case that is responsibility of hosting club.

Before the each match Head Coach has to present to the Secretariat/I Referee: - WBL- 02 – Final Team Registration, signed and stamped by Latvian VF - Passports or other ID-documents, in which name and picture of players is stated

9. TRANSPORTATION

Each participating team is responsible to organize and pay travel to Tallinn and local transport in Tallinn.

11. REGULATIONS

BALTIC WOMEN VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE 2007/2008 REGULATIONS

1. Introduction National federations of the Baltic countries aims to make the competitions for women teams more attractive for spectators, media and sponsors in order to guarantee the competition a higher status that will also result in a benefit to the main performers.

2. Participants Participants of Baltic Women Volleyball League are three best women teams of season 2006-2007 from each of the Baltic (Estonia, , ) countries. Estonian teams are invited: 1) Viimsi VK Milstrand/EBS – I place 2007 (Tallinn Team) 2) TÜ/EEDEN – III place 2007 (Tartu University) 3) Estonian Junior Team – VI place 2007 Latvian teams are invited: 1) FC Riga – I place 2007 2) LU/Jelgava – II place 2007 3) Murjani sporta Gimnazija – III place 2007 Lithuanian teams are invited: 1) Kaunas Heksa – I place 2007 2) Shiauliai – II place 2007 3) Ionava Achema – III place 2007

3. Competitions System 3.1. Main tournament Main tournament will be played as double round robin – one home and one away. Six tournaments – (two tournaments in each country with 3 domestic and 3 visiting teams) Games will be played with six tournaments – two tournaments in each country with 3 home and 3 visiting teams. Games between EST/3, LAT/3 and LTU/3 teams themselves will be counted from concerned National championships first two round games. 3.2. Play-off Six best teams according to Main Tournament results will qualify to Play-off Tournament (Final Six), where the games will be played as follows: I Day (Friday): Match 1 - MT/3. vs MT/6 Match 2 - MT/4. vs MT/5

II Day (Saturday): Match 3 - Winner of Match 1 vs MT/2 Match 4 - Winner of Match 2 vs MT/1 Match 5 (for 5 th place) - Loser of Match 1 vs Loser of Match 2

III Day (Sunday) Match 6 (for 3 rd Place) - Loser of Match 3 vs Loser of Match 4 Match 7 (for 1 st Place) - Winner of Match 3 vs Winner of Match 4 Match for the 3 rd place has to be played before the match of the 1 st place.

Priority to organize of Final Six Tournament has 1 st place team of Main Tournament, second priority – 2nd Place of MT etc. Written confirmation of the possible organizing of Final Six has to be sent to respective National Federation till 10 January 2008.

4. Scoring of points Win with result 3:1 or 3:0 - gives 3 points Win with result 3:2 - gives 2 points Lose with 2:3 - gives 1 point Lose with 0:3 or 1:3 - gives 0 point.

5. Calendar Tournaments ( home - visitors) I EST – LTU 09.-11. November 2007 II LTU – LAT 23.-25. November 2007 III EST – LAT 07.-09. December 2007 IV LAT – LTU 04.-06. January 2008 V LTU – EST 18.-20. January 2008 VI LAT – EST 15.-17. February 2008 FINAL SIX 14.-16.March 2008 Organizing club of each tournament has to be announced through respective National federation till 01. November 2007 .

6. Starting time of the matches Starting time of the matches are between 12:00 (on Sundays10:00) till 20:00

7. Balls The only ball to be used for all matches is the MIKASA MVP-200. Each hosting team has to provide at least 12 MIKASA MVP-200 balls for the warming-up of the match. During the trainings teams have to use own balls.

8. Uniforms During the each tournament all participating teams has to present to representative of hosting club two samples of uniforms. It is not allowed to play in the same colour of uniform for both teams, in this case that is responsibility of hosting club.

9. Referees Referees (1., 2. Referee, scorer, two line judges) are nominated by Refereeing commission of the respective National federation of the hosting club, other staff (ball retrievers, floor moppers, announcer) is nominated by hosting club. Domestic teams of all tournaments are responsible for covering of the expenses of referees of their own games between foreign teams. Visiting clubs can to bring own referee, in this case visiting club has to inform hosting club at least 10 days before concerned tournament. This referee has to be nominated by refereeing Commission of National Federation of visiting team. In this case visiting tam is responsible for covering of all expenses of nominated referee (per diem, transportation, lodging, meals).

10. Registration and financial items Registration of the teams is going trough the respective National Federation – deadline 10.October 2007 – form WBL- 02 Participation fee is 150.- EUR (remark: “Women Baltic League”), which must be paid till

All travel (to and back to the competitions place as well as during the competitions) and lodging costs will be bear by participating teams themselves. Hosting team of each tournament in case of request of visiting teams assists to arrange the possible cheapest accommodation for official delegation (max 17 persons). Hosting team of the concerned tournament is responsible for all organizing expenses, including sports hall, equipment etc.

11. Others Administration and awarding of this competition will be in close co-operation of three federations – EST VF, LTU VF and LAT VF.

The highest authority of League is Jury. Jury members are three NF Secretary Generals of participating countries. Jury’s headquarters is in Estonia.

Visiting team before the match has to present to the 1 st referee of the match collective license, issued and confirmed by respective National Federation.

Hosting team has to arrange training possibilities for visiting teams according the official FIVB Regulations and also water for the players during the trainings and games.

Participation of the first three teams in the Awarding ceremony is mandatory.

All matters don’t announced in these Regulations could be the object of the discussions, but final decision is made by Jury.
