10 CONTAINER PLANTS In addition to our ball and burlap program we also containerize our field-grown material so as to attain a container item with the fuller body and heavier caliper of field-grown trees. These plants are dug and transplanted to our pot-in pot installation. Low profile and shrub-like plants are sold at a 30 in. or larger head size while upright forms start at 5 feet. 10-gallon containers are a grade size larger and the larger containers are specimen plants.
