APRIL 2015 Summer Season Begins Wednesday, April 1 Learn Tuesday–Saturday 10 AM-4 PM, Sunday 1–4 PM More! $12/adult, $10/senior (62+), $8 youth (4-12) Members and Naperville Residents (with proof of residency) are free Just in time for Spring Break - Wednesday, April 1 officially opens our museum campus for the summer season. Our historic homes and businesses are open for visitors and the grounds spring forth with an abundance of beautiful spring flowers. Our Junior Interpreters return on weekends playing games and helping with chores. The Harvard Early Learning Playscape also opens during our Summer Season hours on April 1 and is included with your paid admission! Splash, climb, touch, explore, trade, play, pretend and slide into new adventures. Nestled in a replica of a wooden fort, the Harvard Early Learning Playscape is designed for children ages 2 through 7 to explore the outdoors in a setting created just for them. The playscape playground and splash pad provide opportunities for early childhood physical, imaginative and social development while promoting increased connections to the natural environment, local history and community engagement. Please note - The water features in the Splash Pad are turned the Friday before Memorial Day in May through Oct. 15 and will be turned off during the open season when temperatures dip below 70 degrees. Included are his days in Chicago with Essanay Studios, his Hollywood success, and finally, his exile in Switzerland. The year 2015 marks the 100th anniversary of Charlie Chaplin’s, “The Tramp,” the movie that created the characteristics of his on-screen persona. Reservations recommended.
