Recommendations for Plan Approval Actions of the Natural Resources Commission (NRC) On the morning of April 2, 2009, a presentation of the “PRD Strategic Plan” was made to the NRC Policy Committee on Parks and Recreation. The meeting was open to the public, and approximately 30 people attended, including members of the public, news staff, DNR staff, and NRC members. That afternoon, at the meeting of the full Natural Resources Commission, the Parks and Recreation Committee moved to have the NRC “recommend DNR Director approval” of the PRD Strategic Plan. The Commission unanimously approved the motion.
