  • The Art of Nature
The Art of Nature 1–31 March 2017 www.abudhabifestival.ae A care for the natural environment is embedded in the psyche of the Environment people of the UAE – our forefathers and the leadership of our great nation have led by example, promoted and preserved this love for our Agency – natural environment. They have been similarly steadfast in their resolve to preserve our Abu Dhabi culture and the arts as part of our national identity. These are traits that we must cultivate in the current and future generations of Emiratis and all of the other nationalities who call the UAE home and those who chose to visit. The natural environment has always enriched and inspired artistic creativity. 'The Art of Nature' exhibition is a testimony to this inspiration. Exhibits are based upon the wonderful ecosystems of the UAE – the desert, sabkhas, marine and mountain environments, but also some of the iconic species of the UAE: our terrestrial species such as the Arabian oryx and marine species such as the elusive dugong, corals and mangrove forests. These exhibits in turn have the potential to inspire all those who enjoy these wonderful works of art. We look forward to deepening our collaboration with Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation to meet our common goals – cultural, educational and environmental, by developing artistic and educational initiatives that contribute to the creativity, skills, personal growth and environmental awareness of young people in the UAE. Through collaboration, cooperation, and the engagement of the 005 larger community, we will seek ways to work together to protect our wonderful, natural and cultural heritage and contribute to steering the Emirate of Abu Dhabi on a sustainable path.

The marketing analysis of Vietnam tourism industry for long term development Supervisor(s): Cory Isaacs Year: 2011 Number of pages: 81 Number of appendices: 1 _________________________________________________________________ The objectives of this paper are to identify the shortcomings that have been hindering the development of Vietnam tourism and seeking for the solution for these shortcomings in the aspects of marketing. Vietnam is a country lying in the peninsula of South Asia and holds great potentials of nature, culture and human power for tourism growth. Despite much effort on marketing campaigns, Vietnam tourism is still lagging behind other giant tourism industries in Asia region. The thesis applied both qualitative and quantitative research methods, consisting of the data collected from the official statistics of the organizations namely World Travel and Tourism Councils, World Tourism Organization, Pacific Asia Travel Association, General Statistics Office of Vietnam; and an in-depth interview with Mr. Adam Bray, who is a travel journalist, writer and Indochina expertise. From the study, the writer suggests that Vietnam tourism should focus on four aspects of marketing, including branding Vietnam’s tourism image, designing effective advertisement to raise brand awareness, applying marketing into ICT, and developing tour offerings and focusing on niche market.

When thinking of the wonders of the world, the Great Pyramids or the Colosseum may spring into mind. While unmistakeably incredulous, the list below describes the wonders that Mother Nature created at its own will to enchant and put humans in awe at the mere sight of these wonders. Located in the Himalayas and straddling the border between Nepal and China's Tibet Autonomous Region, Mount Everest is the tallest mountain in the world measured from the sea level. It has an altitude of 29, ft 8, m. Before the Great Trigonometrical Survey, launched by the British inthe Andes were believed to be the range with the highest mountains in the world. The surveyors, however, despite the challenging conditions of their feat, succeeded in making an accurate topographical map of the Indian subcontinent, coming to a conclusion that the Himalayas were higher. Above 26, feet in Mount The Wonders of Nature is the so-called "death zone" where people have unfortunately died, due to a number of different causes: avalanches, rockslides, blizzards, falls, altitude sickness, freezing temperatures, exhaustion, or combinations thereof. Conditions there are extreme and does not support human or any other The Wonders of Nature. The only living creatures that have been found at 22, feet are the Himalayan jumping spiders, the yellow-billed choughs at 26, feetand migrating bar-headed geese, since the environment and permanent snow at 20, feet and beyond does not even support the heartiest algae The Wonders of Nature mosses.
