Transportation

In your trip cost, we have also included the transportation fare, so that you do not have to pay from your pocket when you are in Nepal. The fare includes pick up from the airport as well as drop off at the airport by the private vehicle.

You will be seeing us outside the airport holding the name of TMG Adventure when you arrive in Kathmandu- Tribhuvan International Airport. You will transfer to your hotel. Meals

In Kathmandu, we will provide you breakfast at your hotel. You are trekking near the mountains, that is, you are trekking at a higher altitude, so your body needs energy, and you will get the energy from the food you eat. The foods that we provide you have the right amount of carbohydrate, protein, and fat. We will provide you these in all three square meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner with tea/coffee.

Guides

All our trekking guides have done training on how to tackle with altitude mountain sickness as well as how to use the first aid kit. They are also taught to take care of the trekkers 24/7 if they are affected by an altitude mountain sickness or if they are sick during the trek. Emergency evacuation if you need, you will be provided a helicopter. That is the reason why our guides have 24/7 access to TMG Adventure in Kathmandu. Our guides are certified by the Nepal Government. Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance is a must because you are trekking near the mountains at an altitude of more than 3000 m. You must ensure in your country before coming to Nepal, before starting your trek. Please bring with you a copy of insurance, and your insurance policy must cover the medical expenses, helicopter evacuation from the altitude of 5000 m to 6000 m, and other things related to your health. Please give the copy to TMG Adventure. It will send the information to the insurance company if you use the mountain rescue operation, mentioned above.

Passport and Visa

Before coming to Nepal, your passport must have the validity of 6 months, and you can put the Tourist Visa ‘On Arrival’ on your passport at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. Outline Itinerary & Maps

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal Welcome to the Land of Himalayas, a birthplace of Lord Buddha; known as "The Light of Asia" and also the City Of Temples- Kathmandu Valley. To receive you, our staff will be at the Tribhuvan International Airport. You can notice him, holding company signboard. After that, will transfer you to the hotel. If you have some spare time, you can walk to the street of Thamel. A company representative will meet you and explain to you about your trip in detail.

Accomodation: 239 Meals:212 Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

The sightseeing that you are going to do, today, comprises of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and they can be categorized as Stupas, Temples, and Palaces. The sightseeing can be personalized, according to your interest, and all the effective route planning for the sightseeing will be done by the city guide of TMG, focusing on all the values of your satisfaction like how much time you want to spend, the mode of transportation you want to choose, such as rickshaw, private car, cycle, and it also takes walking distance into account. Kathmandu Durbar Square From the hotel where you are staying, nothing is near the Kathmandu Durbar Square. It was a ceremonial site; it was a palace where the would-be kings used to be coronated in the past, now it is a palace cum museum, and to be there is to experience how the royals spend their life. Stand among the monuments, temples, and statues that back to the 17th and 18th century. Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) Be well prepared in advance because this stupa is located at quite an altitude and is more than 2,000 years old. This is the most important of all the Buddhist Stupas in Nepal and has a fascinating face of Lord Buddha on every side, and its base has the stonework of 5 Dhyani Buddhas – Vairocana, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Amoghasiddhi, and Aksobhya, and each of these represents the wisdom of Lord Buddha. People flock to this stupa to see the birds- eye view of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath Pashupatinath is as old as the hills, but the Hindu Committees of Nepal, looks after it, such as renovation and maintenance, and there are new adds on in and around the temple. Pashupatinath is the most important temple of Lord Shiva and located not far away from the heart of Kathmandu. Only Hindus are permitted to enter from the main gate to Pashupatinath Temple. As a visitor, you will enjoy the rich combination of architecture from a distance. If you are lucky, then you might see the Hindu Cremation taking place. Bouddhanath Bouddhanath is also a stupa. It is one of the holiest pilgrimages of the Buddhists. It has a white doom just like Swayambhunath, whatever the myth is, it contains the bones of Kasyapa Buddha (Buddha incarnation), while others say it contains the bone of Lord Buddha. Around the base of the stupa are 108 small images of the Dhyani Buddha Amitabha. Go anytime to enjoy these images.

We have a morning flight to Pokhara. The flight offers us great views of the Annapurna and a spectacular aerial view of Pokhara and Phewa Lake. After arriving in Pokhara transfer to the hotel and the rest of the day free to explore this beautiful city.

Accomodation: 124 Meals:212 Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul trek Tikhedhunga (1545 m)

After breakfast and hotel check out we will drive up to Nayapul to start our trek. On the way we can see the mighty Machhapuchhre (fishtail) Moutain watching over us. Nayapul will be our gateway to reach the Annapurna Base Camp. After our lunch we descend on to the Modi River and cross. Stone trails will lead us further up through beautiful forests and grassy valleys until we reach Tikhedunga our overnight destination of the day.

Accomodation: 239 Meals:105 Day 05: Tikhedhunga trek to Ghorepani (2855 m)

After breakfast we begin our trek towards Ghorepani. Our first obstacle will be the 3200 stone steps towards Ulleri. Reaching Ulleri we can have a 1 hour break for lunch and we continue towards Ghorepani. The trail will ascend and descend at parts, the landscape changes from open farmlands to lush rainforest. Overnight stay at Ghorepani.

Accomodation: 239 Meals:105 Day 06: Visit Poon Hill (3193 m) trek to Tadapani (2630 m)

We have an early rise at 4.20 am to climb up the famous Poon Hill for a stunning sunrise view of the . Reaching up on Poon Hill we can take many photos and congratulate ourself for reaching our treks destination. After descending back down to Ghorepani for our breakfast we continue the trip towards Tadapani. We ascend upwards through beautiful rhododendron forests filled with the nature songs of many bird species. A downwards hike towards the valley and again up the mountain until we reach Tadapani our overnight stay of the day.

Accomodation: 239 Meals:105 Day 07: Tadapani trek to Ghandruk (1940m)

Today is an easy downwards hike towards Ghandruk. Following the trail through one of the biggest rhododendron forests the jungle scenery with the occasional monkey swinging in the trees. The trail consists mostly out of stone steps and forests paths until reaching the terrace village of Ghandruk home of the Gurung people. Overnight stay at Ghandruk.

We enjoy the morning in Ghandruk and take some beautiful Annapurna pictures before heading downhill towards the river. Traversing many stone steps leading us further down, this can become tricky as it can be very slippery. After reaching the river we climb back up a hill until reaching the village of Landruk for our lunch break. From now it becomes harder as we have more uneven stone steps to ascend and descend. Feeling it in our legs we are happy to reach our overnight destination of the day; Pothana village.

Accomodation: 239 Meals:105 Day 09: Pothana trek to Dhampus Phedi drive to Pokhara (820m)

The last day of our trek today. Hiking downwards through beautiful forest trails we reach Dhampus a very nice village from where we can see our last panoramic views of the Annapurna range, continuing more downwards until reaching a place called Phedi, from here we take the local bus to Pokhara lakeside city for our overnight stay. Depending on wat time we reach Pokhara we can participate in various activities such as boating on Phewa Lake, visiting the Davids Fall waterfalls and the Gupteshwor Cave.

After our hotel breakfast and check out we prepare to go to the airport for our flight back to Kathmandu and the conclusion of our trek.
