A new Marriott Springhill Suites Hotel is now under construction in Huntington Beach, a short distance from the Bella Terra Shopping Center. The 1.89-acre development site, located at 7872 Edinger Avenue, is being improved with a four-story structure that will feature 126 guest rooms. Bernards, a Los Angeles-based construction services firm, has announced the construction of the residential component of Pacific City, a large mixed-use development in Huntington Beach. The project - which was designed by MVE & Partners - is currently rising from a 17-acre site at 21002 Pacific Coast Highway. Plans call for the construction of six low-rise structuress arranged in a crescent shape. Each building will consist of four levels of wood-frame construction above a concrete podium and an underground parking garage.
