INTRODUCTION

Firozpur Division is one of the five Railway Divisions under (NR) of . The Division, with a route kilometerage of approximately 1849.95 kms (1685.64 BG + 164.31 NG- Corrected up to 31/03/2018) and 235 stations caters to the Rail Transport needs of , Jammu and Kashmir and a part of . Firozpur Division serves a large number of industrial and important towns like , , , , Firozpur and Kapurthala in Punjab and Kangra, Palampur, Baijnath Paprola and Joginder Nagar in Himachal Pradesh. Firozpur is also an important Division for freight traffic the main commodities loaded been food grains, Petroleum Products, Cotton, Machinery and Components.
