Jesus Christ IS God! Thousands have already been distributed, thank you Lord! We have deliberately posted quite a number around the surrounding areas of JW Kingdom Halls, Mormon ‘tabernacles’, & even a Jewish synagogue! We pray that this booklet will challenge those who do NOT believe that Jesus Christ IS God! It has been very encouraging to see many of you order these booklets. We have also posted one to all the houses around our own neighbourhood. I have been very surprised as to how many we have already sent out! Toy (aka LaToya, Toya, Loxy, Toxy etc.) sent one to her JW cousin but had it returned a couple of days later; the JW’s are such an arrogant stubborn CULT, they are so closed-minded to THE TRUTH & won’t even consider anything outside of their FALSE-CULT-ORGANISATION. They are SLAVES to it! Tragic isn’t it! Next time a JW CULT member knocks on your door, give him a ‘Jesus Christ IS God!’ booklet in exchange for his Watchtower- fire-starter & see what he says! Philippians Studies on Audio CD! As you know we are now putting onto CD the Sunday morning studies in Philippians. Those of you who have signed up to receive them, should be receiving them on a regular basis. They cost us around 50p each to produce, plus postage. If you can’t afford the CDs but would like to receive them, just order anyway! We have already given out over 1,000 CDs over recent months. As the Lord provides… we give! Thank you to all of you who have commented on the series so far; I’m really enjoying studying & preaching on this Book! What are YOU doing to reach the lost souls around YOU? (i.e. family, neighbours, colleagues etc.) Shouldn’t we all be trying to reach these folks for the Lord? If they die without Christ where will they go? You KNOW! So are you trying to stop them from going to Hell? Time is running out… faster than ever it seems! Do something to reach somebody TODAY with the Gospel! Don’t waste any more time! Post a tract to someone NOW! 1 LIFE is very sad for some people! It seems that some people struggle so much through life: they are looking in all the wrong places to fulfil their needs, to find happiness, love & peace. I feel very sorry for these people, they really do need to trust in the Lord for everything… but most don’t & WON’T! They would rather do anything than ‘give in’ to the Lord Jesus Christ! I still feel very sad, disappointed & frustrated that my own dad has shut out the Lord Jesus in his life; he won’t even give Him a chance! Why is it that some sinners can be so full of PRIDE & ARROGANCE, thinking that they know best, & all they will reap is an ETERNITY in HELL-FIRE? What a terrible state to get into! Wednesday 11th May 2011 – a day to remember! Well after our first appointment, Donna & I decided to get some breakfast & went to ‘Frankie & Benny’s’ for their ‘two for £10’ deal! As we were eating, none other than Gordon Banks the England goalkeeper & World Cup winner of 1966 sat down a few rows behind us. I explained to Donna who he was & thought I ought to give him a couple of tracts before we leave! We went up to him & I said “Hi Gordon, sorry to interrupt you, but I just wanted to shake hands with the greatest goalkeeper ever!” He smiled & said thank you. I then introduced Donna & said may we leave you these & gave him three tracts. He was on TV that same evening talking about his football club Stoke regarding their FA Cup Final place on the following Saturday at Wembley Stadium. After meeting with Gordon Banks, Donna & I drove to our next appointment. On the way Donna was talking to my dad & telling him who we had just met. She also had the chance to really challenge him to become a Christian! She actually said that he needed to ask the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive him of all his sins! This was a momentous occasion regarding my dad! Now Donna & I were really ‘buzzing!’ What a day! But it wasn’t over yet! After we finished our business at the next appointment, we stayed talking with the buyer who started to open up about how he once had cancer & after an operation, was given the all clear. It is often very difficult to witness at work when talking to customers as you can imagine, but here was a great opportunity & after the morning we had just had I couldn’t resist any longer!!! The guy we were talking to was very well travelled, he had made a fortune & he had gone through a life-challenging illness. I asked him if he had fathomed what the MEANING of LIFE was yet? This really opened up the conversation & we spent the next 45 minutes discussing ‘everything!’ I was able to present the Lord Jesus Christ & the Gospel to him very plainly. I told him that dying without Christ would result in a lost eternity in Hell. We discussed evolution, intelligent design, morals & standards, final authority etc. It was a great conversation & I just hope it will get this man to think very deeply about the decisions he has made in life so far & hopefully WILL make in the future! He was a nice guy to talk to! After this amazing situation had happened, you can imagine how excited I was! Donna & I spent the next two hours driving & discussing what an amazing day we had just had. Dee in the meantime had also left us an answerphone message saying that she had just posted a ‘Jesus Christ IS God!’ booklet through the JW’s door she was talking to a few weeks back, plus she had been tracting also. You see, we all need to seize every opportunity we can to witness, even during our secular work! Weds 11th May was certainly a day for Donna & I to remember. Health Update for Donna! Well Donna has to have check-ups every 6 months with her specialist & so off we went during May. Her hands are still quite swollen (knuckles) & she has been told to up her dose of Methotrexate to 5 tablets every week. We pray & hope that this will reduce the swelling. Overall, she is stable & we really do thank the Lord for her condition & we would also like to thank all of you who keep praying for Donna. May 21st 2011 – The Date of the Rapture! No it wasn’t! More dumb ‘Christians’ following some dumb bloke! Guaranteed there’s a buck in it somewhere! I’ve heard that poor old Harold has now gone ‘Camping!!!’ (Wonder if he’s taken his Bible with him?) 2 BEWARE the ‘Hypers’ Have Arrived!!! (aka ‘Hyper-Diapers’ - Diaper = a nappy for a baby! Hypers are babies!!!) (Hyper = over, beyond, above, excessively, above normal) – Hence… Hyper-Calvinism, Hyper-Dispensationalism etc. Well, recently a guy from the USA made contact with us & came on with all his fake humility ‘wooing’ us with his belief in the ‘Word’ of God being perfect (note he couldn’t establish the difference between a capital ‘W’ regarding the Lord Jesus Christ & the written word i.e. small ‘w’). He proceeded to tell us that it was great that we were ‘rightly dividing the Scriptures!’ (He couldn’t rightly divide ‘letters’ let alone words & sentences!!! At this point alarm bells were ringing within me!) He then wanted to send us his literature; some of which he had written & some he had not, so he did. I noticed in his emails he kept mentioning the apostle Paul more than he did the Saviour (more alarm bells ringing!!!) After skimming his literature my ‘hunch’ (or the Lord’s leading maybe?) was confirmed, he proved himself to be a raving-Hyper-Dispensationalist! Wow, you don’t get many & here I was with one on the end of my line! Have a look verbatim at part of what this Hyper wrote (I have highlighted a few of his CULT phrases for you to pick up on if you ever deal with one of these fakers)… ‘Hello John, Hope all is well with you and yours.

His distraught mother Patricia Pulling attempted to find out what had driven her son to such extreme measures. In her search for answers she laid the blame squarely on Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), in which Bink had been heavily involved. Patricia Pulling started the organization Bothered About Dungeons and Dragons (BADD) in 1983. BADD crusaded against roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons. As she would argue in many works that she subsequently published, including her 1989 manifesto, The Devil’s Web: Who is Stalking Your Children for Satan?, Dungeons & Dragons was a dangerous game that put the lives and moral virtues of youths at risk by serving as an entry point to the occult.1 This paper will argue that there was a moment of crisis centered around the family in the period and the broader discussion of youth entertainment which allowed for BADD to gain traction. By examining pamphlets produced by BADD and Patricia Pulling’s appearance on shows like 60 Minutes the dogma of the group can be understood. By juxtaposing other pieces of media that a parent may have seen in the same period such as the senate hearing for parental advisory labels on music and anti-drug PSAs this paper will illustrate the ways that people were primed by other panics of the period to believe that D&D could be dangerous.

    Princeton Prayer Letter, Princeton, NJ (Sept. 22, 2006) Friday Night in Princeton. One of the slowest nights we’ve seen in a long time in Princeton. Six people were present to witness/evangelize on 09/22/06. Elyse and Roberto – Two teens from Princeton area. Elyse took 2QT and flunked it. Then she admitted to breaking at least 3 of the 10C’s. When we discussed forgiveness being given by God, even after a life of sin, she balked. Thought that it was too easy for a murderer to get off the hook. She had trouble really accepting the idea of grace since she was from a R/C background. But she did not like the Catholic Church and had basically left it. But she still retained some of their “works” mentality. She took a Gospel of John and a More Than a Carpenter book with her. Roberto was very quiet and finally asked if he could worship Satan tonight and then tomorrow become Born Again, “could he do it”? I said “yes”, but that if he persisted in sin his heart would get harder and harder. He wanted to wait until later to get this “good deal” of forgiveness. I asked him when he would die, and he said probably in the next two weeks since he smoked ten packs a day. But he got my point that he has no idea of the time of his death. We gave him the Scripture that “now is the time of salvation,” and told him, “Don’t wait until it is too late.” Courtney and her friend stopped to speak with us.

    The Visual Culture of Chick Tracts and Its Problems with Communication Philip Forness 7 August 2008 2 I. Introduction In the 1960s, a group of comic artists began to differentiate their comic books from those that were prevalent in the first half of the twentieth century. Although many chroniclers of what came to be called the Underground Comics Movement have dated the beginnings of the movement to Robert Crumb’s Zap Comix in 1968 (Figure 1), it is readily admitted that there had been traces of the movement’s ideas before. In any case, from Crumb’s series the movement spread widely, notably including Harvey Kurtzmann of MAD Magazine, and later including Art Spiegelman, won the Pulitzer Prize for Maus. The earliest works in the movement display a deliberate disregard for taboos on portraying sexual scenes, exploring drug use, and challenging political assumptions (see Figure 2). Likewise, some artists of the movement used the comic book medium to satirize religion. Most notably, Frank Stack under the pseudonym Foolbert Sturgeon wrote The New Adventures of Jesus, a series of comics exploring how ridiculous it would be were Jesus in modern culture (see Figure 3). These themes attracted an adult crowd interested in defining themselves against the contemporary norm. While these comic artists were not the first to use comics for discourse among adults, their comics marked the first time that a widely-recognized, sustained subculture would emerge around adult-comics. Matthew Pustz observes that the comic artists’ willingness to portray drug use “worked to reinforce the community between the creators and their audience by emphasizing their shared experience.”1 Reveling in their otherness defined against the prim and proper façade of the 1960s, a family of collectors and creators formed around these comic books that would play a role in the progressive movements of the coming decades.
