A board of directors was selected from the membership of Tattnall Square Baptist Church. Located in North Macon, Tattnall Square Academy is a co- educational day school for students from Pre-K(age 3) through twelfth grade and provides a college preparatory curriculum. There are a total of 500 students enrolled for the 2014-2015 school year, with 141 in grades 9-12, and 55 in the Class of 2015. Every stu- dent is honor bound by our Honor Code System and Pledge to refrain from lying, cheating, and stealing. THE FACULTY Our school has a faculty and professional staff of 78. Thirty three percent have attained advanced degrees. All faculty members meet the same professional learning unit requirements as teachers certified by the State of Georgia. ACCREDITATION Tattnall Square Academy is fully accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (AdvancED), the Southern Association of Independent Schools and is a member of the Georgia Independent School Association along with the Georgia High School Asso- ciation.
