HUGH ELLIOTT CALDWELL A longtime member and pa sl presi dent of Elmhurst Golf and Count ry Club , Hugh Caldwell died In Winnipeg March 30. He was In his 76th year . He served as president 01 the Manitoba Golf Associa­ tion In 197 2. Born at Vi rden, Man., he received his educa tion in Winnipeg with the exception of four years In Maryland. H was employed by Eaton 's of Canada for many years. An ard ent spor tsman, he participated In ba seball , Hugh Caldwell Bruce Boreham hockey , paddling, track, curling and golf.
