Nice commercial but I couldn't get any sound! I wonder what the price is? I just don't think it's very Dustyish, it seems a bit dour. I would have preferred something more glamorous, maybe in the same vein as the Girl Group Sounds hatbox set. Should I ever be able to afford it, I hope the contents make me feel better about it Top Re: Dusty Springfield box set (#p46419) by Cas19 » Tue Jan 25, 2011 7:31 pm I quite like the shape of the box, and the way its all so compact. I'd like a bit more information of the contents, before paying out what will no dout be a lot of money! Any new tracks? Can we find out how much it will cost? Neil Top Re: Dusty Springfield box set (#p46437) by humboldt » Tue Jan 25, 2011 10:36 pm Neil, I imagine that the price will be TFM I'll be passing this by. Top Re: Dusty Springfield box set (#p46571) by daydreamer » Thu Jan 27, 2011 8:24 am When I originally found the link, it was by searching for Dusty Universal box set but I noticed yesterday that the link had disappeared. Terri, there are no more details available yet. March was mentioned as a release date but that could have moved back by now, Dusty's releases usually do Guess we have to wait for Universal to get their act together and issue some info. It does look a bit unDustyishly serious, though (LOL at Liz's granny's will comment!). It looks like they've given the designer a copy of the Dusty Bible and he's designed the set around the greys and reds of the cover. I wonder how many they're planning to produce... I hope there is something new in it (and if there is, I hope the numbers aren't so limited that the price rockets as people sell them on eBay!). It does seem like a long time to wait from when we first heard about it, but hopefully taking their time may mean we're happy with the end result.
