In appointing a member, regard must be had to the person’s ability to contribute to the Board’s performance and the implementation of its strategic and operational plans. A person is not eligible for appointment as a member if the person is not able to manage a corporation under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). Members are appointed for terms of not more than three years and are eligible for reappointment upon expiry of their terms.
