- 15 - Constitution The constitution is available on our website www.salenshow.wordpress.com or in the Secretary’s tent on show day.

RULES 1. subscriptions must be paid before entries can be accepted. 2. all cattle, sheep and goat exhibits must have been owned by the exhibitor for Two Months prior to Show Day and held within the Show District. horses must be resident within the area on the day of the Show. 3. bulls must be haltered at all times and not left unattended on the showfield. 4. all sheep must have been bred in the Show District unless otherwise stated in the schedule. Tups must have served or serve in the ensuing season, within the Show District. 5. a Shepherd may use his employer’s lug mark so long as ownership can be proved. 6. Movement of sheep between pens is allowed only under the supervision of an attending officer. 7. horses and Ponies must be haltered and not left unattended. No riding is permitted outside the allotted areas. No animal may be judged by one who has bred, reared, trained or sold it. 8. Stock must remain on the showfield until 1630 hours, unless by prior arrangement. 9. Stewards have the right to remove from the showfield any animal showing behaviour liable to be a threat to public safety. notes
