Young home bred Blue heifers with plenty of shape also ran to 209ppk, plus 208ppk for Phillip Dennis of North Tawton while South Devon heifers (25m) fetched 197ppk for Keith & Hilary Harvey of Bovey Tracey. Charolais heifers (27m) from Roger & John Dennis of Tedburn St Mary saw 192ppk (£1141) also Rob Corkery of Higher Metcombe attained 192ppk (£1164) for a solid looking Limousin steer (22m). OTM prime saw a well-muscled Blonde heifer to 197ppk (£1190) for Derek Arnold of Morchard Road. Barren Cows – Barren cows in tremendous demand with numbers light everywhere, selling to a high of 157ppk (£1117) for Messrs Tucker & Parkhouse of Pennymoor with a Limousin. Murray Grey barreners saw 138ppk (£976) for J Hastie of Wiveliscombe with Blue cows to 129ppk (£894) again for Derek Arnold.
