Se recopila toda la informaci6n bibliografica disponible que aporta datos de interes sobre su espontaneidad en toda la cuenca mediterranea, con especial referencia a la Peninsula Iberica. Ponemos de manifiesto el caracter edafoxer6filo de este tipo de formaciones en el area de estudio con la descripci6n de una nueva asociaci6n y una comunidad vegetal : Junipero phoeniceae-Pinetum halepensis y comunidad de Ephedrafragilis y Pinus halepensis. Palabras c1ave : Pinus halepensis, pinares aut6ctonos, caracter edafoxer6filo, sur de Espafia RESUME Cette etude porte sur les communautes naturelles de Pinus halepensis du sud de l'Espagne (Andalusia). Toute I'information bibliographique concernant la spontaneite dans le bassin Mediterraneen, particulierement celle de la Peninsule Iberique, est compilee. Le caractere edapho-xerophile de ce type de formations dans I'aire d'etude est mis en evidence, et une nouvelle association est decrite : Junipero phoeniceaePinetum halepensis, ainsi qu'une communaute 11 Ephedra fragilis et Pinus halepensis. C. maculosa has infested an additional 8,420 acres. These weedy plant species are common along roadsides-and in waste places and are spreading rapidly over vast areas of semiarid rangeland. The density of the knapweed species could only be correlated with the degree of soil disturbance and was not correlated with any chemical property of the soil. The knapweeds are not generally grazed by domestic livestock and substantially reduce the forage yields in heavily infested areas. C. diffusa and C. maculosa prevent soil erosion on disturbed sites as these pioneer species are capable of rapid colonization of these sites.

Tra le specie appartenenti a questa famiglia si riscontrano infatti diversi taxa dannosi a colture agrarie, altri con un limitato areale o una peculiare ecologia che risultano a rischio di estinzione a causa dell’antropizzazione.

This study tested for recip- rocal effects of a specialist tortoise beetle (Physonota unipunctata) feeding on a host plant (Monarda fistulosa)withtwo monoterpene chemotypes [thymol (T) and carvacrol (C)] using a controlled field experiment where larvae fed on caged plants of both chemotypes, haphazardly collected natural plants with and without beetle damage, and growth chamber experiments where larvae that hatched and briefly fed on one chemotype were reared on either chemotype. In the field experiment, plant chemotype did not affect larval weight or length, but did influence larval survival with almost 8.3 % more surviving on T plants. Herbivores reduced seed head area (86.5 % decrease), stem mass (41.2 %) and stem height by guest on December 18, 2015 (21.1 %) of caged plants, but this was independent of host chemotype.

Les Galerucidae sonL caracterises par la disposition des antennes qui sont filiformes et, au mains dans les genres europeens, composees de onze articles. Elles sont rapprochees a leur base. Les Galerucides ant generalement greles avec les teguments mous. 1AULIK a decouvert un caractere permanent a l'interieur des femurs des Halticides permettant de separer ces insectes des Galerucides. 11 s'agit d'un apodeme, en forme de cuiller, ou s'inserent les muscles saltatoires, apodeme qui fait defaut aux Galerucides. La nervation alaire des Galerucides est de type « chrysomelide », avec, contrairement aux Halticide , Cu1 bien developpe. 11 y a assez peu de micropteres et d'apteres chez les Galerucides. La biologie des Galerucides est exLremement Yariee. Toutes les especes sont phytophages, mais si la plupart des e pece vivent, larves et adultes, sur les plantes nourricieres, d'autres sont h pogees a l'etat larvaire et, comme les Eumolpides, se nourrissent des radicelles des vegetaux (Phyllobrotica, Luperus, etc.). Les larves d'autres especes (Exosoma, etc.) se developpent dan les bulbes des Liliacees et Amarylidees, et sont stercoraires. Enfin, quelques larves (i\lonoxia ... ) ant mineuse dans les feuilles de diver vegetaux (Chenopodium) . Les larves ant le plu ouvent gregaires. La nympha e s'accomplit en terre le plus souvent, quelquefois a decouvert sur le ol, dans les fentes des ecorces, ou bien la nymphe est fixee par l'extremite de l'abdomen a une feuille. Beaucoup de Galerucides sont stenophages (Agelastica et Alnus, Sermylassa et Galium, etc.), d'autres sont polyphages (Galeruca).
