LA Transfers (move out/move in): Move outs and move ins are allocated to the Senior Case Manager for each locality. If a child moving in is moving a short distance and retaining their current school, their case will be allocated on the rules around that school (e.g. a child moving into attending one of our LA schools would be assigned to the SCM for the locality covering that area. If a child moves in who is staying at a non-Leicestershire LA School, they would be allocated by their new address). Otherwise, move-ins will be allocated by their new address.

Willow Bank School (LRI Children’s Hospital School): Allocate according to the rules for their main school base if the child is dual-registered with another school (e.g. if the child normally attends Brookvale Learning Campus in Groby and is only on roll to Willow Bank for the duration of a hospital stay, allocate to the locality pod covering Brookvale). If the child is only attending the hospital school, allocate by home address.

Oakfield PRU (Blaby Oakfield): Allocate according to the rules for their main school if the child is still on roll at another school (e.g. a child on roll to Anstey The Latimer Primary and Oakfield is allocated to the locality pod covering Anstey, a child on roll to a local authority school in the city but living in county and also attending Oakfield would be allocated by home address). If the child is only attending Oakfield PRU, allocate by home address.
