Consult on all artistic, casting, production, marketing and education decisions with General Director and relevant staff. Available to Board of Directors for general or specific questions as well as providing artistic leadership behind fundraising initiatives. Travel to hear singers and see productions as required. Serve on Artistic Committee of Board of Directors. Advise on artistic and production budgets per production as well as long-range planning.

Direct one main-stage opera per season, other directing duties as assigned, including interviews and public relations, proofing program and advertising, writing additional copy as necessary, participation in fundraising events and liaison to guild events for specific productions. Lead education previews of main-stage operas as well as selected previews for MET HD broadcasts with Filmstreams (Independent Cinema in Omaha).

3-5 weeks in-residence for administrative duties (outside of directing periods), weekly phone conferences with Communications Director and General Director. Attend as many board functions as professional work schedule / travel budget will permit.

Direct one main-stage or two (or more) workshop productions/scenes programs for Opera Department, with master classes and individual and group seminars as required by Department Chair. 8-10 week in-residence commitment based around professional work schedule.

Summer 2000, 02, 03, 04, 06, 08 Faculty Director Aspen Music Festival & School

Prepare weekly opera scenes with students in the program and regular Acting Arias class as well as consult on scheduling and staging of other opera events for 80 singers within the 9 week festival.

Summer 2001 Program Administrator Aspen Music Festival & School

Oversee all scheduling and production needs for 80 students, 15 faculty, and 16 staff for weekly scenes programs, 3 main-stage productions in historic opera house as well as additional concerts and fundraising events for the 9 week festival.
