FERNANDES RECOVERY OF OCTROI IN VP LOILEM-POLEM 001A. *WILL the Minister for Panchayati Raj be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government is aware since when Village Panchayat Loliem-Polem in Canacona Constituency has started recovering Octroi over various pumps under its jurisdiction; (b) if so, furnish details such as names and addresses of each petrol pumps, amount recovered from each petrol pump since 2005 till date; (c) whether it is a fact that Village Panchayat Loliem has not recovered Octroi; (d) if so, the details thereof, the reason for pendency; (e) whether the Government intends to solve the issue related to Octroi; and (f) if so, the time frame by which the Government intends to solve the same ? 4 SHRI ISIDORE A. FERNANDES SAND EROSION IN CANACONA CONSTITUENCY 001C. *WILL the Minister for Water Resources be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government is aware that most beaches like Galgibaga, Colomb, Patnem and Talpona in Canacona Constituency are prone to sand erosion; (b) if so, furnish details of name, work carried out, work proposed, present status of beaches covered under prevention of soil erosion project for the last five years; (c) whether the Government is aware of soil erosion protection wall with boulder that was constructed at Talpona to prevent high tide water entering the household; (d) if so, the details of name of the scheme under which the wall was constructed, the estimated cost of and the date the work was completed with the total area covered; (e) whether the existing area is still to be covered with protection wall; (f) if so, the reason for the pendency; (g) whether the Government intends to complete the remaining wall under Water Resources Department; (h) if so, the details of the present status of the file; (i) if not, the reason for not taking up the work; and (j) whether the assessment and modeling studies has been completed; if so, the details thereof? DHAVALIKAR PROGRESS OF MOPA AIRPORT 003A. *WILL the Minister for Civil Aviation be pleased to state: (a) the progress of the Mopa Airport ; (b) time frame of that will be taken to complete the work; and (c) the details such as : i) date of issue of work order, ii) date of completion of the work iii) present status, and iv) furnish the copy of the agreement? DHAVALIKAR REPAIRS WORKS OF PRIMARY SCHOOLS 003B. *WILL the Minister for Education be pleased to state: (a) the total number of repair works of primary schools under taken by GSIDC Taluka wise for the year 2016-17, 2017-2018, 2018-2019 and till date: (b) furnish details as EST- cost, tendered cost, date of work order, date: of completion of work, present status, Taluka wise as mentioned at serial (a); and (c) reasons for delay and likely date of completion of all above works? DHAVALIKAR OPA WATER TREATMENT PLANT 003C. *WILL the Minister for Water Resources be pleased to state: (a) whether the raw water supplied to existing plants at OPA(Water Treatment Plant) is sufficient; (b) if so, the provision made for raw water supply for future expansion of Water Treatment Plant at Opa; and (c) the reasons as regards as to why there was shortage of raw water at Opa Plant in the month of April to June 2019? 6 SHRI ALEIXO REGINALDO LOURENCO SHRI CHANDRAKANT KAVALEKAR SHRI ATANASIO MONSERRATE SMT. JENNIFER MONSERRATE SHRI CLAFASIO DIAS SHRI ANTONIO FERNANDES SHRI DIGAMBAR KAMAT IMPORT OF FISH FROM OTHER STATES IN GOA 004A. *WILL the Minister for Fisheries be pleased to state: (a) with the ban on fishing season effective from 1st June 2019 and the suspected import of fish from other States in Goa laced with preservatives such as formalin, the following details may be furnished; (i) the reasons as regards to why ban on fishing is applied only in Goa and not in other neighbouring States; the preventive method applied to restrict fishing by trawlers from neighbouring States in Goa’s territorial water with full details thereof; (ii) the reasons as regards to why Goans are compelled to consume frozen/preserved/stored fish which is suspected to be applied with hazardous preservatives such as formalin with details thereof: (iii) the details of the import which is estimated for this year during fishing ban period as well as other on monthly basis; the estimated consumption of fish which is being already stored/preserved using cold storage or other facilities in Goa, with details thereof; and (iv) the reasons as regards to why price control mechanism is not in place when the Government is providing number of facilities, incentives, subsidies to trawlers, fishing community, with details thereof? SHRI ALEIXO REGINALDO LOURENCO ALLOTMENT OF SHOPS 004B. *WILL the Minister for General Administration be pleased to state: (a) the details of shops from Junta building, Panaji allotted on fresh lease without inviting tenders by the Government from 2000 to 2005; 7 (b) the details of procedure followed by the Government with details such as name of the previous lease holder, fresh lease holder of each shop, criteria applied for fixing monthly rent; (c) whether it is a fact that the original lease agreement files pertaining to said shops went missing after allotment; (d) if so, the details of such shop number, file number, date/year of missing source of information, name of official in possession of files prior to missing; and (e) the details of action taken by the Government and then Advocate General on the issue of missing files? SHRI ALEIXO REGINALDO LOURENCO IMPLEMENTATION OF RTE ACT IN GOA 004C. *WILL the Minister for Education be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government is aware that private unaided schools are under legal obligation to reserve 25% of seats in kindergarten and class 1 for children belonging to weaker sections and disadvantaged groups under section 12 (1) (C) of Right to Education Act; (b) if so, the details of all notifications issued till date regarding admission to children belonging to disadvantaged sections, per- child costs, eligibility criteria for admissions, selection process; (c) the school-wise details of all recognized private unaided schools in the State, such as name, location, sanctioned student strength of kindergarten, Class I; (d) the details of number of children belonging to weaker sections, disadvantaged groups admitted to kindergarten and Class 1 receiving free education during the last five academic years till date in each recognized private unaided school in the State; (e) whether the Government is aware that effective implementation of this provision would lead to social inclusion as well as better educational experience for all school children in the State; and (f) if so, the details of the steps the Government has taken/proposed to take in this regard? 8 SHRI JOSE LUIS CARLOS ALMEIDA SHIFTING OF THE EXISTING ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORT OFFICE, VASCO 005A. *WILL the Minister for Transport be pleased to state: (a) whether the acquired premises for the office of the Assistant Director of Transport, Baina is ready to be opened for the public; (b) if so, the time frame by which the Government intends to shift the existing Assistant Director of Transport office, Vasco to the new premises; and (c) if not, reasons for the delay?
