since the society’s founding, volunteers have worked diligently to bring our mission to life as the front-line connection with visitors to our museums. our successes are due to the dedication, commitment, love of history, and support demonstrated by these faithful stewards. We extend our appreciation to these individuals who continue to devote their time and talent to the work of the society serving as museum docents, tour guides, archives’ registrars and researchers, event volunteers, administrative volunteers, archaeology volunteers, and members of the coast Guard auxiliary lighthouse crew.
