In compiling the information for this file it became clear, at least to the author, that the surnames Audley, Adeley, Adley, Aidley and Eardley, became interchangeable, for a period of time, commencing as Audley and developing into Aidley. Whilst no direct links to other Audley families have been identified this family could be associated with other Audley families as follows: Audley Family A: Audley Family A splits into the 4 Audley Families of Liverpool, namely Audley Families, AA, AB AC, AD. However Audley Family A contains the details of the family who were recorded in the Parish Registers of Shotwick and Neston in Cheshire. Shotwick and Neston being some 40 miles West of Siddington Audley of Audley in Staffordshire and of Nantwich in Cheshire: This family is detailed in Chapter 14 of ‘Audley Pedigrees’ by A. L. Reade. This family starts around 1575 and continues to the first quarter of the 1800s. Audley Family T: This family commences with the three illegitimate children of {T39} William Audley (1751 – 1824) of Nantwich and Newcastle under Lyme, and which is part of the Audley family described in Chapter 14 of ‘Audley Pedigrees’. In developing these Audley families the hope is that the Audley’s of Cheshire (this file) will be able to be linked to Audley Family A or with Audley Family T. Possible links between the various families in this file There are 4 people born with the Christian name Martha as follows: {R136} Martha Audley born 1755 part of Family 8 {R7} Martha Audley born 1790 part of Family 1 {R14} Martha Audley born 1820 part of Family 6 {R29} Martha Adley or Aidley born 1846 part of Family 6 Is it possible that the above 4 were named after each other and therefore related?.     Appendix 4 Detailed proposals for each Ward – organised by Local Area Partnership (LAP) Proposed Wards within the Knutsford Local Area Partnership Knutsford Local Area Partnership (LAP) is situated towards the north-west of Cheshire East, and borders Wilmslow to the north-east, Macclesfield to the south-east and Congleton to the south. The M6 and M56 motorways pass through this LAP. Hourly train services link Knutsford, Plumley and Mobberley to Chester and Manchester, while in the east of this LAP hourly trains link Chelford with Crewe and Manchester. The town of Knutsford was the model for Elizabeth Gaskell's novel Cranford and scenes from the George C. Scott film Patton were filmed in the centre of Knutsford, in front of the old Town Hall. Barclays Bank employs thousands of people in IT and staff support functions at Radbroke Hall, just outside the town of Knutsford. Knutsford is home to numerous sporting teams such as Knutsford Hockey Club, Knutsford Cricket Club, Knutsford Rugby Club and Knutsford Football Club. Attractions include Tatton Park, home of the RHS Flower show, the stately homes Arley Hall, Tabley House and Peover Hall, and the Cuckooland Museum of cuckoo clocks. In detail, the proposals are: Knutsford is a historic, self-contained urban community with established extents and comprises the former County Ward of Knutsford, containing 7 polling districts. The Parish of Knutsford also mirrors the boundary of this proposal. Knutsford Town is surrounded by Green Belt which covers 58% of this proposed division. The proposed ward has excellent communications by road, motorway and rail and is bounded to the north by Tatton Park and to the east by Birkin Brook.

DESCRIPTION OF SITE AND CONTEXT The application site lies within an existing wood recycling facility in Bosley which is operated by Wood Treatment Limited. The site is located off Tunstall Road which connects to the A523. The site is approximately 800m south west of Bosley and approximately 6km east of Congleton and 8km south of Macclesfield. The wood recycling facility lies on a linear strip of land which is located in a valley directly adjacent to the River Dane. It is characterised by a mixture of traditional red-bricked and modern steel framed industrial buildings with items of externally located processing plant and machinery and part of the facility is split by Tunstall Road. The site benefits from a substantial belt of natural screening provided by woodland aligning the River Dane to the west. The surrounding land is used for agriculture and there are two farms located to the east of the site, and a smaller industrial complex to the north.
