For those of you new to Texas, welcome to the great Lone Star State! The 2011 conference offers IAOM’s traditional general sessions, product showcase, and technical presentations on facilities and employee man- agement, product protection and technical operations. The Program Com- mittee has done a tremendous job this year putting together the lineup of speakers. Even though the presentations are conducted simultaneously, you’ll be able to access the presentations online following the conference. Details about how to access the information will be sent by email to all IAOM members. While in San Antonio, we offer you the opportunity to network through shared meals, educational expeditions, informal meet- ings, receptions, and Expo. Conference highlights include: • Keynote Address on the Future of Flour Milling by ConAgra Mills’ Bill Stoufer • Speaker’s Corner presentation on Generation to Generation: Creating Connections for a Productive Workplace • Industry innovations in the Product Showcase session • IMEF Silent and Live Auctions - Not only will you have the opportunity to purchase great items, you will also be contributing to future generations of milling professionals by bidding in the auctions • Expo hall full of the industry’s leading services and equipment suppliers As you take part in the conference, you will see many people with leader- ship positions indicated on the ribbons affixed to their name tags. These are IAOM members with various responsibilities who can provide informa- tion about IAOM and their roles, answer your questions and direct you to other resources. IAOM has a tradition of collegiality and inclusivity and we want you to feel that you are part of the association. We’re glad you’re here and we’re ready to help. The conference was developed and is sustained through the work of hundreds of volunteers from the IAOM membership. Thank you so much for all that you do! Enjoy the Conference and Expo, and your time here on the Riverwalk!
