Dear Food Vendor: Split Rock Resort is excited for our The 26th Annual Great Tastes of Pennsylvania Wine and Food Festival on Saturday & Sunday, June 25th and 26th, 2016. We have begun planning this years festival and hope you will help us make it another successful year. The festival will once again feature tastings from Pennsylvanias finest wineries, musical entertainment, crafts and art work, special activities, and delicious food during this two day outdoor event. We will try not to duplicate any products other than those which are a result of returning vendors. Decisions will have preference to those products that best accentuate wine. Please find the Wine Festival map attached with the spaces listed. Please review and indicate your first, second and third choice. Spaces have been tiered and vary in price from $500-$600 this pricing can be found on the second page as always they are on a first come first serve basis. The pricing will include (4) festival entrance wristbands and (4) souvenir wine glasses. Tables and chairs are available for rent at $10 a table and $5 a chair. Please complete the enclosed entry application form and fax or email it. Note, there are no refunds after April 8, 2016. Additional information is provided in the attached “Terms of Participation”. Accommodations at Split Rock are available at a special rate of $95 for standard rooms and $126 for suites per night plus tax and service. Electricity for food vendors will be brought to within five feet or less of your location. The availability and cost are described in the electrical work order form. Bring your own extension cords. We will be monitering electric usage. You will be charged accordingly, so please order what you will be using. Security will be provided from 6:00 PM Friday to 8:00 AM Saturday and 6:00 PM Saturday to 9:00 AM Sunday; however Split Rock Resort and the festival’s staff cannot be responsible for any losses or damages before or during the event. Vendors are responsible for collecting Pennsylvania Sales Tax on sales made during the festival. There is no rain date. The festival will operate from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM both days unless cancelled due to unusual weather conditions. A deposited check is an accepted application and a commitment to the festival. No refunds will be made after April 8, 2016. Rejected applicants will be notified on or before April 8, 2016. If rejected, your fee will be returned at that time. Note: your check will not be cashed until your application has been accepted by the festival organizers. Festival representatives will direct vendors to their locations between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM Friday, June 24, 2016 and between 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, June 25, 2016. Set up must be completed by 11:00 AM. Vehicles must be removed from the festival area by 11:00 AM. Parking will be provided in an adjacent area. Break down of the event will take place at 6pm on Sunday June 26, 2016. Vendors will be able to get their vehicles an hour after the festival ends or when the festival staff determine the grounds are able to be open. Each vendor will be provided with four armbands for admittance into the festival area and four wine tasting glasses. NO pets allowed on Festival grounds. *We do accept site location requests, but do not guarantee that sites will be available. Placement is done on a first come, first serve basis. Any vendor moving from their designated locations will be charged an additional fee of $250.00. Any vendor who pulls out after only one day or breaks down early will not be invited to return to future festivals. Any space left with damages or significant trash will be charged a fee of $150.00.
