F O R E W O R D It would be correct to aver that Adekunle Ajasin University is gradually coming of age. It is now about 14 years old on its present site! The Convocation Ceremonies which commenced with a Press Briefing on Tuesday, 12th March, 2013, are the fourth in the history of the University since the second phase of its history commenced November 1999. This year's edition is unique in a number of ways. It is of a broader scope, presenting a record figure of graduands of about 6,000, and taking place in our new look, more beautiful, greener and inviting Campus. Perhaps more importantly, new features and programmes have been added, making the Convocation Ceremonies this year quite a ground- breaker of some sort. This year's Convocation has a place for Exhibition (scientific and artistic) and Poster Presentations. This is one programme that affords members of the public an opportunity of a glimpse into some of the efforts at scientific research and investigation on- going in the University. I have the utmost pleasure in inviting you, most humbly, to be a part of these and all of the events lined up for this most unique Convocation. Thank you for being a part of our dream of building a 21st Century University, properly called! Professor N. Oluwafemi Mimiko, Vice Chancellor, E-mail: [email protected]; femi.
