Allgemeinverbindlicher Teil Der Bundestag des DFB hat gemäß § 6 Nr. 4 seiner Satzung dem DFB aus dem Sachgebiet des Jugendwesens folgende Sachgebietsteile in dem durch nachfolgende Bestimmungen gezogenen Rahmen zur Regelung übertragen: § 1 Organisation 1. Träger der fußballsportlichen Jugendarbeit sind die Fußball-Jugendabtei- lungen der Vereine.     1950 Durch zahlreiche Vereinsneugründungen im damaligen Landkreis Gerolzhofen nahm der Fußballsport zu Beginn der 50er Jahre einen solchen Aufschwung, dass die Schiedsrichterkameraden Martin Klein (SV Herlheim), Walter Kreß (SpVgg Laub) und Sepp Spannrad (FC Gerolzhofen), die der Gruppe Schweinfurt angehörten, sowie der Kamerad Karl Dittmann (Gerolzhofen), der seine Schiedsrichterprüfung in der Gruppe Würzburg abgelegt hat, beschlossen, eine eigene Schiedsrichtergruppe für den Landkreis Gerolzhofen zu gründen. Nach einem erfolgreichen Neulingslehrgang wurde im Mai 1950 im Hotel Kaiserhof in Gerolzhofen, das gleichzeitig Sitzungslokal der Gruppe wurde, die Schiedsrichter- Untergruppe Gerolzhofen ins Leben gerufen. Die neue Untergruppe wählte damals den Kameraden Josef Ament aus Alitzheim zu ihrem Obmann, der nach nur einer halbjährlichen Tätigkeit von dem damals 20-jährigen Walter Kreß abgelöst wurde. Martin Klein wurde sein Stellvertreter und übernahm gleichzeitig das Amt des Lehrwarts. Zum Spielgruppenleiter wurde Sepp Spannrad bestimmt, der erst im Jahr 1949 aus der Kriegsgefangenschaft zurückgekehrt war. Im Dezember 1950 gehörten 10 Schiedsrichter der Untergruppe an. 1951-1964 In der Zeit als Walter Kreß seine Berufsausbildung absolvierte, übernahm Martin Klein für drei Jahre die Leitung der Untergruppe. Um des immer mehr anwachsenden Spielbetriebs Herr zu werden, machten es sich die Schiedsrichter aus dem Gerolzhöfer Land zur besonderen Aufgabe, den Nachwuchs durch eine gründliche und gewissenhafte Ausbildung für das Amt des Unparteiischen vorzubereiten. Diese rührende Sorge um geeignete Jungschiedsrichter brachte nicht nur eine ständige Vergrößerung der Untergruppe, sondern auch etliche Berufungen zur Leitung höherklassiger Spiele mit sich. So wurde neben der Besetzung von Oberligaspielen mit Linienrichtern regelmäßig Begegnungen der höchsten bayerischen Amateurklassen geleitet.
