While 2020 has been a year to forget generally it will be one to remember for myself and my partner Nicola after the birth of our daughter Effie just before Christmas. Thank you to everybody who has sent their good wishes - mother and baby are both doing fine.

We will be looking to get 2021 off to the best possible start this afternoon with a win against the league leaders. We saw first-hand why Gloucester are in the position they are in on Boxing Day when they were clinical with one of the few chances they created against us and won the game with it. We certainly need to find our shooting boots again having failed to score in three games. The injury to Lance Smith certainly hasn’t helped our cause but these things happen during the season and we need to learn to cope with it. We have spread the goals throughout the team in the past and need to start doing it again if we are to get on another good run.

Enjoy the game!
