La danse invite à voir ce qui n'existe plus. Au travers d’un voyage allégorique d’1h20, traité en 10 séquences, et porté par la composition originale de Matthieu Chedid, Nicolas Le Riche et Clairemarie Osta nous parlent des liens qui nous unissent dans l'espace qui nous sépare. Sur scène, les danseurs sculptent l’espace et le temps dans un chassé croisé de duos en solos, puis de solos à deux, comme autant de métaphores des multiples formes d’une relation. Glissades, sauts, portés, tout le vocabulaire de la danse est mis au service des interprètes pour qu’ils se racontent et se livrent. Les lumières de Jean-Michel Désiré et les costumes d’Olivier Bériot, magnifient le détail des corps et contribuent à créer l’atmosphère onirique et enveloppante au cœur de ce spectacle. Para-ll-èles est une poésie dansée à deux, seul(s)… ensemble. His documentaries are about the human experience within institutions (schools, prisons, the military, hospitals, courts, the arts, and communities) that are common in all societies. Für mich war das, was auf den Proben geschah, oft interessanter als die förmlichen Aspekte der Aufführung. Doch andererseits entsteht, wenn alles gelingt, etwas so Schönes, dass man von der geschaffe- nen Illusion fortgerissen wird. Eine Illusion, die nur sechzig Sekunden währt, aber etwas, das voll- kommen ist.

Biographical History: Catherine Gyll was born Catherine Doolin in Dublin in 1923. After seeing a production by the Irish Ballet Club at the Abbey Theatre in late 1939, she auditioned for and was invited to join the Club by its director, Cepta Cullen. Catherine studied and performed with the Irish Ballet Club until 1943, during which time she also studied radiography at St. Vincent’s hospital, Dublin. Catherine performed in most of the Ballet Club’s repertory during this period, including Puck Fair, Aisling, Lanner Waltz, Rhapsodie, and Peter and the Wolf. In 1943, Catherine went to work in London where she met and married theatre director Peter Gyll (1913-1989) while working as an Assistant Stage Manager. Catherine returned to live in Ireland in 2004. Immediate Source of Acquisition: Donated by Catherine Gyll to the National Dance Archive of Ireland on 26 July 2011.     Nicolas Le Riche Nommé Directeur du Ballet Royal de Suède 2017-07-03 17:05 CEST Nicolas Le Riche Nommé Directeur du Ballet Royal de Suède Actuellement directeur du LAAC (L’Atelier de L’Art Chorégraphique) au Théâtre des Champs-Elysées à Paris, Nicolas Le Riche prendra la direction du Ballet Royal de Suède dès l’automne 2017. A 45 ans, Le Riche, qui a fait rayonner le Ballet de L’Opéra national de Paris pendant toute sa carrière, succède à Johannes Öhman qui prend la tête du Staatsballett de Berlin. Comme son prédécesseur, Le Riche ne voit aucune séparation entre la danse classique et la danse contemporaine : « les deux sont des facettes du même art », dit Le Riche. Le grand Danseur Étoile est resté fidèle à l’Opéra national de Paris tout au long de sa carrière, interprétant lesgrands rôles du répertoire classique ainsi que ceux des genres néoclassique et moderne. C’est en 1990 qu’il perce sous la direction de Rudolf Noureev dans des rôles comme Roméo dans Roméo et Juliette. « Il saute comme un tigre, vole comme un ange, puis atterrit comme un chat » écrit son ami de longue date, le comédien et metteur en scène français Guillaume Gallienne, en parlant de ce technicien virtuose et interprète sensible qui, ces dernières années, travaille principalement comme chorégraphe. En 2014, ilfait ses adieux à la scène de l’Opéra national de Paris lors d’une soirée gala qu’il a lui-même dirigé. Il y mit en scène plusieurs moments des plus mémorables de sa carrière comme L’Après-midi d’une Faune de Nijinski, le Boléro de Béjart, Raymonda de Noureev, et Le Jeune Homme et la Mort de Roland Petit.
