This event is appointed by the FIE as a satellite World Cup tournament. The top 8 fencers will be awarded World Cup points. Please note: the venue is in east London. Transport to central London (Oxford Circus) takes 40 minutes by underground and DLR trains. 1) Date: Sunday 1st December 2013 2) Venue: SportsDock, University of East London, Docklands Campus, University Way, London, E16 2RD The nearest station is Cyprus (DLR, Beckton branch). If coming from London Heathrow airport: take the Piccadilly underground line to Green Park. Change on to the Jubilee Line (eastbound trains to Stratford).Change at Canning Town on to the DLR. Take a Beckton train to reach the venue. If coming from London Stansted airport: take the Stansted Express train to Tottenham Hale station. Change there to the Victoria underground line (southbound trains to Brixton).At Green Park change to Jubilee Line (eastbound trains to Stratford).Change at Canning Town on to the DLR. The Directoire Technique will, however, reserve the right to decide, without right of appeal, on any issues not covered by the FIE Rules or by these Rules. 11) Referees: Each country is required to send FIE qualified referees in accordance with FIE rule o.81. Official candidates for FIE refereeing exams may also referee provided they hold a current FIE Fencer’s licence (Rule t.35). The names of referees, together with their FIE Category, must be emailed to British Fencing ([email protected]) 7 days before the event.
