Adapting to the future Southeastern Sustainability Report 2018 About us Southeastern has been running the train service between London, Kent and parts of East Sussex since 2006. We operate one of the busiest and most complex networks in the country, including the UK’s only domestic high speed service. Every week we take 1.75 million passengers to where they need to go, by operating 12,500 services across the region. During peak hours, we help around 260,000 passengers travel on our network, and last year we ran an average of 1,759 daily metro, mainline and high speed passenger services into and out of major terminals, which is more than any other National Rail operator.
