At the forefront of the conservative movement, she was the spokesperson and a member of the Supreme Council of the then-ruling Grand National Party(prcdccessor of the Liberty Korea Party). She was the Grand National Party's nominee for the 20 l l Seoul mayoral election. She was voted as the most respected politician by the millennial generation in 2016. Also, as the Member of the Board of Directors of Special Olympics International, and a former Governing Board Member of the International Paralympic Committee Leader Na is active in promoting the rights of disabled people and advancing human rights.
