Page ii NAZKO PROPERTY - 2016 ASSESSMENT REPORT 1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Nazko property is located approximately 80 km west of Quesnel, British Columbia, and 10 km west of the village of Nazko, in the Cariboo Mining Division. The property is centered at 52°55’32.3” N and 123°44’10.8” W (NAD83), between Fishpot Lake to the west and Marmot Lake to the east. The Nazko property covers parts of BCGS maps 093B.082 and 093B.092. The Nazko property consists of two contiguous mineral leases that cover 400.00 hectares (ha) of land that are encompassed by six mineral claims that cover 1676.20 ha. The leases and claims that comprise the Nazko property are 100% owned by CANLAVA Mining Corp. (CANLAVA). Access to the property is west from Quesnel via the paved Nazko Road to the village of Nazko, then west along the well-travelled gravel 4000 Road to the Nazko cone and approximate centre of the property. The Nazko property covers the Recent Nazko cinder cone where scoria and tephra is currently being mined and processed on mining leases into finished product by owner- operator CANLAVA. Underling rocks include prospective Eocence Ootsa Lake Group rhyolitic volcanic rocks and Cretaceous Skeena Group fine to coarse-grained siliciclastics. The Nazko property has only recently been the subject of exploration for precious metals. Geochemical surveys have outlined several anomalies that warranted follow-up work. In 2016 a limited program of bedrock mapping, prospecting and rock geochemical sampling was conducted over the southern half of the property. It identified a previously unrecognized window through the young volcanic cover to older rocks. The window exposes locally iron and manganese-altered chert pebble conglomerate and coarse-grained sandstone of the Skeena Group that occurs mainly on the western edge of the claim group. It is in contact to the west with hematite-altered rhyolite breccia of the Ootsa Lake Group. Select grab samples from the altered sandstone and conglomerate returned background levels of pathfinder elements, while two samples of rhyolite breccia returned weakly anomalous values for Zn, but background values for the other pathfinder elements. Despite weak analytical results, further examination of the area west of the claim boundary to more fully evaluate the rhyolite breccia is warranted. It is recommended that CANLAVA consider staking the open ground located immediately west of the existing claim block to cover areas underlain by the altered Ootsa Lake Group rhyolitic rocks. Should new claims be added, a suggested budget for a 1-week follow-up program of detailed mapping and prospecting is an estimated $13,000.00. CANLAVA MINING CORP. PAGE 1 NAZKO PROPERTY - 2016 ASSESSMENT REPORT 2 INTRODUCTION This assessment report has been prepared at the request of CANLAVA Mining Corp. (CANLAVA) to summarize results of a bedrock mapping and prospecting program conducted in mid-May of 2016 on its Nazko property. This assessment report was prepared by independent Qualified Person R.A. (Bob) Lane, P.Geo. 2.1 LOCATION AND ACCESS The Nazko property is located approximately 80 km west of Quesnel, British Columbia, and 10 km west of the village of Nazko, in the Cariboo Mining Division. The property is centered at 52°55’32.3” N and 123°44’10.8” W (NAD83), between Fishpot Lake to the west and Marmot Lake to the east. The Nazko property covers parts of BCGS maps 093B.082 and 093B.092. Access to the property is west from Quesnel via the paved Nazko Road to the village of Nazko, then west along the well-travelled gravel 4000 Road to the Nazko cone and approximate centre of the property. Several tertiary roads, some of which are decommissioned, provide 4x4 and ATV access to several large clear cuts. Recent clear cut logging and associated road development south of Nazko cone provide good access to areas of thin overburden cover where road cuts expose previously hidden bedrock. 2.2 PHYSIOGRAPHY AND CLIMATE The Nazko property area is characterized by low rolling hills, with elevations ranging between 1090 and 1305 m above sea level (asl). Uniform glacial till generally less than 10 m thick covers bedrock. Exposed bedrock accounts for less than 10% of the property area; outcrop exposures generally limited to north- and west-facing hillsides and man-made road cuts. Much of the property has been logged since the mid-1980s. Forested areas contain a mixture of pine and spruce with minor alder undergrowth in low-lying areas. The climate is typical of a moderate continental setting at this latitude. Relatively cold winter conditions occur from November through March, and temperate summer conditions occur between June and September. 2.3 PROPERTY STATUS AND OWNERSHIP The Nazko property consists of two contiguous mineral leases that cover 400.00 hectares (ha) of land that are encompassed by six mineral claims that cover 1676.20 ha (Table 1 and Figure 2). The tenures cover parts of BCGS maps 093B.092 and 093B.082. The leases and claims that comprise the Nazko property are 100% owned by CANLAVA Mining Corp. (client ID 275848). CANLAVA MINING CORP.
