ASTC Travel Passport Program Participants December 1, 2020 - April 30, 2021 The ASTC Travel Passport Program is a reciprocal admission program that offers a travel benefit to the members of Passport Program participating science centers or museums. Before you make plans for to visit an institution during the COVID-19 pandemic, please call first to confirm your benefit, whether it will be open when you visit, and any special procedures that may be in place there. Given local responses, many Passport-participating institutions are altering their operations or may be fully closed to the public. As a member of an institution that participates in the ASTC Travel Passport Program, you are eligible for benefits such as free GENERAL ADMISSION when you travel outside of your local area to the other participating institutions listed here. These benefits DO NOT include free or discounted admission to special exhibits, planetarium, and larger- screen theater presentations, nor do they include museum store discounts and other benefits associated with museum membership unless stated otherwise. EXCLUSIONS 1. Science centers and museums located within 90 miles* of the science center/ museum where the visitor is a member. 2. Science centers and museums located within 90 miles* of the visitor’s residence. *This distance is measured “as the crow flies,” meaning that it is based on the linear radius, not driving distance.
