Being in the fall foliage time and for us to be it was very nice to have a car show on the fairways and able to get a train car all to ourselves, we need to get the greens of a private golf course, plus the quality of cars and reservations in a month in advance. I believe there are 56 the diversity of them was incredible. He is taking over from long time webmaster Barb Noonan who has been our webmaster since the beginning. As the program Barb was using kind of crashed, Jerry has had to get up and running faster than he thought with the new program that National AACA wants to start using, so the website address will be changing and the link from National’s website might still be going to our “old” site. Please be patient as this transition occurs. Chuck and Mary Beth Facklam stepped up to take over the running of the August tour from John & Elaine

Meet at Transitown Plaza, Main & Transit at the Main St. entrance at 8:00am and leave at 8:30 sharp

LER will then tour to Medina to enjoy an old time, round trip train ride through Western with the Medina Railroad Museum. Our two-hour excursion will take us past wooded scenery and along the Erie Canal, hopefully enjoying the colors of Autumn. Time will also be allotted to tour the museum before we board the train. Our early arrival at the museum will also allow us to use the paved parking lot across the street for our antique cars.

This is a very popular train ride at this time of year, so we have to sign up early to make sure we get the discounted price for our club. Reservations for the train MUST be made by September 18. After that date, any unassigned seats will be available to the public. We have a full train car reserved for our club. Should we go over the capacity of the one car, later registrations will be in a second train car. **NOTE: Because of the Museum’s early head count, this will be the only time this registration form will appear in the newsletter.

After the train ride we will again have some time to tour the Medina RR Museum & gift shop before we travel a short distance to Tillman’s Historic Village Inn for a buffet dinner. There is a large parking lot in rear of restaurant. Fairhaven Gift Shop is next to the restaurant parking lot.
