Progress KSrelief Projects in Yemen Since 2015 ( as of 31 Dec 2017 )

•• 47 trucks carrying KSrelief food aid arrived to – part of a larger distribution project to provide 76,250 food baskets to Taiz districts. This project is only one of a total of 175 projects which have been 48 implemented by the center throughout Yemen to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people during the current crisis there. 69 •• KSrelief recently distributed food baskets to displaced persons in Sa’dah, and to inhabitants of the Al Rakza Camp in Ma’rib. KSrelief 12 is implementing a larger project to distribute a total of 49,000 food baskets in Ma’rib, Al Jawf, Al Beyda, and to alleviate the 7 suffering of the people of Yemen during their current crisis. 10 •• KSrelief distributed 2,400 food baskets for the neediest families in Al Ma’afer District, – part of a larger initiative to distribute 76,250 food baskets throughout Taiz. 10 •• KSrelief recently provided 20 tons of medications and medical 4 supplies to the medical supply center at the Republic General Hospital in . The delivery ceremony was attended by the Undersecretary of the Health Ministry, a Representative from KSrelief’s Office in 7 Aden, the Coordinator for the Supreme Commission for Relief in Yemen, and a number of media professionals. 3 •• KSrelief sponsored a recreational field trip for the child soldiers as 3 a part of the project implemented by KSrelief to rehabilitate them. The trip included a visit to Land, where they enjoyed the various games available there. Providing the children with a change 1 of scenery helps to alleviate the psychological trauma they’ve suffered at the hands of the Houthi militias, curbing aggressive 1 behavior and allowing them to revisit the childhood atmosphere they’ve missed while under the control of the militias.
