Our mission is to advocate for economic development that benefits the area’s industrial, commercial, tech, cultural, tourism, and residential sectors. In 2016, with key support from stakeholders, government and private foundations, we launched the LIC Comprehensive Plan. Working with all of our partners, and gathering information from many sources, including a business survey of our 6300+ businesses and institutions, we published a Summary Report of Phase 1 to compile a list of policy, investment and project recommendations to help meet the needs of our growing community while maintaining a vital mix of uses.
