Hannover, im März 2014 Stephan Weil Niedersächsischer Ministerpräsident 24 Word of Welcome by the Ministerpresident of Lower Saxony The 27th European Media Art Festival is also dedicated to a current social issue: under the heading ›We, The Enemy – living under suspicion‹, a range of programmes will be offered between 23 and 27 April that explo- re responses of the international art scene to digital surveillance and some of the strategies applied to de- fend themselves digitally. A key component of the festival is the accompanying exhibition at the Kunsthalle Osnabrück, which

  • Californication Biography Song List What We Play
Californication Biography about us Established in early 2004, Californication the all new Red Hot Chili Peppers Show, aims to deliver Australia’s tribute to one of the world’s most popular and distinguishable bands: the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Californication recreates an authentic and live experience that is, the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The Chili Peppers themselves first came to prominence 20 years ago by fusing funk, rock and rap music styles through their many groundbreaking albums. A typical 90 minute show performed by Californication includes all the big hits and smash anthems that have made the Chili Peppers such an enduring global act. From their breakthrough cover of Stevie Wonder’s Higher Ground to the multiplatinum singles Give it Away, Under the Bridge and Breaking the Girl; as well as Aeroplane, Scar Tissue, Otherside and Californication; fans of the Chili Peppers’ music will never walk away disappointed. Fronted by Johnny, the vocalist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers Show captures all the stage antics and high energy required to emulate Anthony Kiedis, while the rest of the band carry out the very essence of the Red Hot Chili Peppers through the attention of musical detail and a stunning visual performance worthy of the famous LAbased quartet. And now, exclusively supported by the exciting, upcoming party band Big Way Out, you can be guaranteed an enjoyable night’s worth of entertainment. Be prepared to experience Californication the Red Hot Chili Peppers Show. Coming soon to a venue near you! Song List what we play Mothers

  • Red Hot Chili Peppers Are an American Alternative Rock Band Formed in Los Angeles, California in 1983
    1. INTRODUCTION The Red Hot Chili Peppers are an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1983. For most of its career, the group has consisted of vocalist Anthony Kiedis, guitarist John Frusciante, bassist Michael “Flea” Balzary, and drummer Chad Smith. The band's varied musical style has fused traditional rock and heavy metal with various elements of funk, punk rock, hip hop, and pop. In addition to Kiedis and Flea, the group originally featured guitarist Hillel Slovak and drummer Jack Irons. However, Slovak died of a heroin overdose in 1988, resulting in Irons resigning. Irons was replaced briefly by D. H. Peligro, before the band found a permanent replacement in Chad Smith, while Slovak was replaced by an upcoming guitarist Frusciante. This line-up recorded the band's fourth and fifth album, 1989's Mother's Milk and 1991's Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Blood Sugar Sex Magik was a critical success and sold over twelve million copies. However, Frusciante grew increasingly uncomfortable with the band's success and left the band abruptly in 1992. Kiedis, Flea, and Smith employed Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction for their subsequent album, 1995's One Hot Minute. It failed, however, to match the critical acclaim of Blood Sugar Sex Magik and sold less than half the copies of its predecessor. Shortly afterwards, Navarro was fired from the band due to creative differences. Frusciante, while absent from the band, developed a severe drug addiction and nearly died. In 1998, he completed rehabilitation and, at Flea's request, rejoined the band.

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS TRACK VARIATIONS by HAMISH DUNCAN VERSION 1.3 2019 https://rhcpsessions.com [email protected] This guide is an attempt to outline each track variation in the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ recorded catalogue. Put simply, this is every different “version” of each of their songs. Some are wildly different, containing extra verses or alternate guitar solos; some contain fairly negligible differences that aren’t audible to the human ear. If you’re after the most complete version of the band’s discography, what’s listed below will help you a great deal. The format is as follows: [x] - Name of release - format - year - “variation” Sources will be listed in the rough order of their release. Unreleased in-studio mixes will be listed before all else. Demos aren’t given the same name as their respective albums (i.e. Demos For Third Album, not Uplift Mofo Party Plan demos) because the album name’s didn’t exist at the time of their recording. For example, in 1986 the band weren’t recording demos for “The Uplift Mofo Party Plan”, they were recorded demos for their third album. For simplicity’s sake, only the most readily available release will be displayed here unless there is something unique about the source. For example, Fortune Faded appeared as a single before its release on Greatest Hits, but the same version can be found on both releases, and only the latter can be easily heard today. If the single had a unique mix, that would be listed as well. Digital versions will not be acknowledged if they are merely CD masters.
