I am committed to providing our students’ academic excellence and a school culture that that enhances the learning environment. I strive to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will empower students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers and inspired learners prepared to thrive in High School. These beliefs guide my educational decisions and help me set a foundation on which to develop school improvement goals. Parent Engagement supports and maintains the educational process while setting a personal and character development standard for students. I welcome all ideas, suggestions, and opportunities to enhance the educational environment and culture in our school. I am passionate about students being empowered to succeed. As Principal, I use all tools available to inspire staff, students and community to work together to promote student achievement and well-being. Jorge Mas Canosa (1939-1997) rose, through strength of character, focus, and discipline, to great prominence in American business and politics. With extraordinary leadership skills, he became the first Hispanic to head a publicly traded company while forging alliances with national and international leaders and three American administrations to found the Cuban American National Foundation dedicated to the promotion of freedom, democracy, and human rights in Cuba.
