It is more important than ever to support the NRCC during the 2018 midterm election cycle and protect its 235-seat majority. On average, the political party of the President loses 31 seats during midterm elections, and Democrats would only need to win 23 seats to obtain majority of the House of Representatives. Contributions to Win in 2018 help make certain the NRCC and Republican State Parties have the vital resources they need to ensure the Republican team is successful on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018. What is Win in 2018: “Win in 2018” is a joint fundraising committee (JFC) of the NRCC, Arizona Republican Party, California Republican Party, Republican Party of Florida, Illinois Republican Party, Republican Party of Iowa, Kansas Republican Party, Michigan Republican Party, Republican Party of Minnesota, Nevada Republican Central Committee, New Jersey Republican State Committee, NY Republican Federal Campaign Committee, Republican Federal Committee of Pennsylvania, Republican Party of Texas, and the Republican Party of Virginia. Who can give to Win in 2018: Federal Multicandidate PACs can contribute a maximum of $175,000 to Win in 2018. The NRCC can accept $15,000 into its general operating account, as well as an additional $45,000 each into the Building and Legal Proceedings Funds. Each State Party can accept $5,000 annually. Individuals and Federal Non-Multicandidate PACs can contribute a maximum of $377,300 to Win in 2018. The NRCC can accept $33,900 into its general operating account, as well as an additional $101,700 each into the Building and Legal Proceedings Funds. Each state party can accept $10,000 annually. Benefits of Win in 2018: Individuals and PACs who support Win in 2018 will be entitled to PAC programming & benefits detailed below. Washington St., Ste. 115, Alexandria, VA 22314 Win in 2018 Fundraising Notice Win in 2018 (“JFC”) is a joint fundraising committee composed of Arizona Republican Party (Federal Account), California Republican Party Federal Acct, Republican Party of Florida (Federal Account), Illinois Republican Party (Federal Account), Republican Party of Iowa (Federal Account), Kansas Republican Party (Federal Account), Michigan Republican Party (Federal Account), Republican Party of Minnesota-Federal, Nevada Republican Central Committee (Federal Account), New Jersey Republican State Committee (Federal Account), NY Republican Federal Campaign Committee, Republican Federal Committee of Pennsylvania, Republican Party of Texas (Federal Account), Republican Party of Virginia Inc. (Federal Account) (these first 14, collectively, “State Parties”), and NRCC (each, a“ Committee,” and, collectively, the “Committees”). Any contribution to the JFC permissible under the Federal Election Campaign Act, as amended (“FECA”), from contributors who have not exceeded their applicable Federal contribution limits, shall be allocated among the Committees pursuant to FECA and the formula set forth in this Notice. Contributions Made by an Individual or Federal Non-Multicandidate Political Committee: Individuals or federal non-multicandidate PACs may contribute up to $377,300 annually. Such contributions shall be allocated in the following order: 1.NRCC shall receive for its general account any contribution not exceeding $33,900 annually. 2.State Parties shall receive for their respective federal accounts equal portions of any contribution not exceeding $140,000 annually. 3.NRCC shall receive for its Building Fund any contribution not exceeding $101,700 annually. 4.NRCC shall receive for its Legal Proceedings Fund any contribution not exceeding $101,700 annually. Contributions Made by a Federal Multicandidate Political Committee: Multicandidate PACs may contribute up to $175,000 annually. Such contributions shall be allocated in the following order: 1.NRCC shall receive for its general account any contribution not exceeding $15,000 annually. 2.State Parties shall receive for their respective federal accounts equal portions of any contribution not exceeding $70,000 annually. 3.NRCC shall receive for its Building Fund any contribution not exceeding $45,000 annually. 4.NRCC shall receive for its Legal Proceedings Fund any contribution not exceeding $45,000 annually. Contributions to Win in 2018, or to any participating Committee individually, are not deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax purposes. Contributions from corporations, labor unions, national banks, federal government contractors, foreign nationals without green cards, and other federally impermissible sources are prohibited. Contributions that exceed a donor’s contribution limit to a participating Committee shall be reallocated to the remaining Committees according to this allocation formula to the extent permitted by FECA. Any contributor may designate his or her contribution to a specific participating Committee to the extent permissible by FECA. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of each individual whose aggregate contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle or calendar year, as applicable.
