(ASTC) is 100% Qatari national company owned by Mr. Nasser Rashid Sraiya Al Kaabi and registered in Doha, The establishment of ASTC since 1975 is a natural progression of the Al Sraiya Holding Group policy of controlled growth and diversification. By assembling the experienced construction management organization and utilizing the numerous construction equipments and fabrication resources of its parent company Al Sraiya Holding Group, ASTC will be able to provide a more efficient and cost effective service to our clients, especially in residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructural, sports facilities and landscaping construction works. The objectives of ASTC is to undertake all aspects of engineering and construction activities related to civil, mechanical, electrical, plus engineering procurements, testing and commissioning and startup services, since it has been approved by the state Central Tenders Committee as Grade A company in Building, Roads and Drainage Works. Al Sraiya Holding Group is a privately owned multi-faced group of companies. It has developed into one of the big construction, manufacturing and support services companies in Qatar and provides comprehensive services to the construction domain. ASTC had executed numerous projects for private clients and Government departments in the field of buildings, roads and earth movement. ASTC Domains Building construction have been one of the major source of revenue for ASTC in the last 35 years of its history. We have completed building projects in excess of 2 Billion during this period quiet a few building project was land marks in Qatar. During the past years, being a part of the state’s developments we had executed Governmental Rayyan municipality head quarters buildings, Q-Tel center at Al Waab. Road works started to be a major source of the revenue of the company. In the last few years ASTC had successfully executed Road Projects - New Izghawa link roads, Road developments in Wakrah north and south, Internal roads at Al Manaseer, Road improvement works at zone 64 … etc. Thus we find ourselves capable of handling any type of building construction involving any kind of intricacies and finishes ASTC Points of Strength Over the Years of proven wide experience in executing variety of projects blended with company’s additional in-house resources make us all the more competent in taking up any kind on construction. Inherent strength of equipment and man power resources are supporting on going projects in ASTC as well in their subsidiaries in the parent company. These in house equipment resources ensure the mobilization time counted in days rather than weeks, as well as finishing the work in such acceptable and approved way. Our fleet of own equipment including excavators, Ladders, Graders, Trucks and Trailers and full fledged service garage and mobile maintenance team cater to the contracting division for the efficiency. Any Building work would involve successful use of formwork, concrete placement and proper co-ordination with sub contractors and suppliers for major architectural finishing materials. Within the company at various projects and facilities there are more than 2300 skilled/semiskilled manpower working. During period of exigencies few hundred people can always be transferred from one place to another. We are proud to have our other in house facilities like, Carpentry, Steel and Aluminium fabrication work shops, Interior fit outs division for smooth operation and to become self sufficient in all diversified activities Under the Leader ship of Mr. Nasser Rashid Sraiya Al Kaabi, as the chairman of the company, prospered in the past and made our own position in the state’s development projects. Antoine Georges Saade are contributing their experiences and efforts to the faster development of the company. Our strength behind all achievements is our dedicated team of engineers and foremen and a result oriented strong workforce of 200 more talented employees and 2300 more skilled/semiskilled labors, with all advanced computer skills. Our administration and fi- nance departments are able to handle all the issues very efficiently. We have a central tendering section with experienced Quantity Surveyors and a central planning, procure- ment & purchase section to monitor the projects equipped with latest computer facilities. Looking in to the future we are planning to introduce bet- ter training facilities, safety awareness, in house training programs, and quality management systems to meet the future requirement and to excel among competitors ASTC Site Management Each project is entrusted to a qualified Project Manager who is directly reporting to the Executive General Manager. Each week the program and progress monitored through weekly meeting At last but most important is the qualified and experienced Engineers and foremen who really made the achievements as stated. By benchmarking the index from Q1 2016 at 100 points, we found that values continue to fall displaying market corrections nationwide. The first quarter 2018 VPI displayed overall 9.4% annual and 1.6% quarterly declines. Villas and freehold apartments saw quarterly price declines of 1.6% and 1.7%, respectively. Whilst a few locations saw marginal declines, others experienced steeper falls. Quarterly capital depreciation between 0.4% and 2.7% was seen in clusters of Al Wakrah, Al Khor, Umm Salal Mohammad, Old Airport, Al Thumama, Al Waab, West Bay Lagoon, New Al Rayyan/Muaither and declines of 4% to 4.4% were seen in Ain Khalid/Abu Hamour and Umm Salal Ali. Gross yields for residential units averaged at 4.8%, with 6.0% for apartments and 4.2% for villas.
