Students and faculty are encouraged to exhibit their Trojan Pride Homecoming week by participating in the following Show Your Trojan Spirit days. All students must adhere to the school dress code policy as stated below and in the Parent and Student Handbook: Shorts and skirts MUST be the proper length Jeans, sweatpants, yoga legwear and/or anything with glitter are not allowed Do not bring toys/items as props, which may be considered weapons such as plastic knives/swords, toy guns, etc. Clothing and/or make-up should not be degrading to any culture, ethnicity, gender, etc. Masks/paint may be worn to cover one’s face; however, it must be removed immediately upon request of a faculty member. Caps/Hats must be removed upon entering each classroom and when eating lunch in the cafeteria area. When in doubt, ask the administration before arriving to school out of dress code. CONSEQUENCE FOR INAPPROPRIATE DRESS CODE If a student chooses not to follow the school’s dress code guidelines, he/she will be asked to immediately contact his/her parent/guardian and receive consequences deemed necessary by administration. MONDAY – DECADE DAY: Dress in a poodle skirt or slick back hair for the 50’s, a “hippie’ from the 60’s or Disco style for the 70’s, etc. TUESDAY – OCCUPATIONAL DAY: Dress as your future profession – Physician/Medical Field, Coach/Teacher, Pilot, Police Officer, Fireman, Military, Zookeeper, etc. WEDNESDAY – HOLIDAY DAY: Wear your favorite holiday attire - Santa, Mrs. Claus or elf for Christmas, Easter Bunny, Leprechaun for St. Patrick’s Day, Pilgrim for Thanksgiving, etc. THURSDAY – BLUE AND GOLD DAY: Wear blue and gold attire to show your Trojan pride. Attire may include make-up, football jerseys, school “spirit” shirts, socks, pants/shorts (of school length), face paint, etc. ****Students may also wear the official 2018 Homecoming t-shirt. FRIDAY – 2018 HOMECOMING DAY: 9th – 11th grade students are required to wear their school uniforms; girls must wear their school skirt, which must be the length according to the school dress code. Seniors are allowed to wear Mass attire - slacks, polo shirts, button-down shirts, dresses and skirts which adhere to the school dress code policy as stated in the Parent and Student Handbook. Jeans are not allowed. .
