    MEMÒRIA GREC 2017 FESTIVAL DE BARCELONA - ICUB Memòria 2017 ÍNDEX LA PROGRAMACIÓ 3 GREC_PRO 14 LES XIFRES DEL FESTIVAL 17 COMUNICACIÓ 21 MÉS GREC 23 2 Memòria 2017 LA PROGRAMACIÓ El Grec Festival de Barcelona 2017 ha programat 102 espectacles, dels quals 27 han estat estrenes; 46 s’han pogut veure a les sales del Grec Montjuïc i 56 a les del Grec Ciutat. En total hi ha hagut 40 espectacles de teatre, 43 de música, 15 de dansa i 4 de circ. A més, s’han dut a terme un gran nombre d’activitats paral·leles per fomentar la implicació del públic més enllà de l’assistència a les funcions: converses amb artistes, tallers d’espectadors, assajos oberts o projectes comunitaris. Durant tot el mes de juliol, el Festival Grec ha reivindicat el paper de la ciutat de Barcelona com a espai de creació, acostant-nos, d’una banda, propostes internacionals i, de l’altra, promovent autors i companyies locals. El Festival ha exercit de mitjancer en aquest diàleg, apropant aquest gresol creatiu als espectadors dintre i fora dels escenaris. Enguany, el Grec s’ha guiat per quatre grans línies estratègiques: • Presentar propostes artístiques excepcionals. • Descobrir, difondre i potenciar el talent i els teixits artístics locals. • Provocar, estimular i acompanyar iniciatives. • Ampliar la base social del públic i l’interès per les arts. Així, el 2017 hem començat un viatge de la mà del director del Festival, Cesc Casadesús, que ens durà a explorar el món per descobrir nous artistes i les seves propostes durant els propers anys. El punt de partida ha estat la Mediterrània, amb especial atenció a Grècia i Atenes, per això s’han programat diversos espectacles procedents de tota la riba del Mediterrani.
